It's been awhile since I stopped by and I just wanted to pop in and give you all an update on how Tessa is doing. We're a few days past her official 1 year OTJ but I forgot to test her on the actual date haha.

She's still LOVING not having to get her BG tested so often but she's still pretty good about sitting still for me when I do test her. She recently had a vet visit and the vet said that her bloodwork looked good aside from some elevated results that he said were likely from eating shortly before the vet visit but we will test again in a few months to be sure.

She will likely need a teeth cleaning soon as well but otherwise she's looking great. The vet was also amazed at how close her weight was to the last time she was there. The timed feeder and lack of access to her sister's food works wonders at keeping her weight in check since she's a little piggy at heart lol.

The only bad thing is that she gets stressed if she doesn't get her food on time, I think she knows that means that we're likely taking her to the vet or she's getting groomed. She's too smart for her own good sometimes.

Thank you again to all who helped me and Tessa on this journey, we will forever be in your debt and I will forever recommend FDMB to people with diabetic kitties.

My first thought was the same as others - gorgeous kitty and what a great photo!

Happy Annifursary! We love hearing good news here - thank you for stopping in.
