Hi LL Friends,
Sorry I'm posting so late (It's actually 3/28 already 1 am) but I don't know when or if I'll get to post again tomorrow so wanted to update you and let you know I haven't disappeared. Racci's bg seems to be getting back to her regular blue/green pattern but it's hard to tell yet. I think it was the food problem. Merrick BG is back to making decent food so she is back on her 2% carb as opposed to the Wellness she'll eat that's 8% & I think that's making the difference. She feels better too, I think. Her bad leg is still giving her a really hard time though. She has a terrible limp. I have to increase her Adequan again after just decreasing a few weeks ago. She still needs to go to the vet but life is really giving me a kick in the butt & I haven't figured out how I'm going to get her there yet.
I have my hands full here. I took a fall head over heels down a flight of stairs in my house! Just what I needed! On top of the messed up back, knees, shoulders, etc that I already had I am a mass of lumps and contusions and black and blues. I was at the dr. today and have to go for xrays tomorrow. Naturally, I hurt my knees, back, hips the worst besides from the totally black a blue legs and scattered small bruises. grrrr! I can't even lift Racci & bending is murder. We've had horrible weather & lots of snow so naturally I have bronchitis again and picked up a new ab script today too.
To top it off I had to put DH in the hospital as he was very sick so not only is there no help from that end but I'm running to the hospital back and forth, or should say, was!
I'm still having computer problems and will be sending it to Dell so they can take it apart and really do a number on it. We think we identified the problem but it will be better done at the factory so I will be computerless for about 2 weeks. I'll let you know when. Right now I need it too much to look up companies that I'll need for DH for his needs when he comes home if there are any, to do it. When he gets sick like this he needs nursing, etc when they release him and I can't do it with my back & shoulders the way they are & being 5' & 98 lbs & him 6'2 & 170 or so.
At any rate with all this going on I haven't been able to get Racci to the vet and now I can't pick her up and carry the carrier up & down the stairs and to the car without john here to help! I may just ask for an ab for her and bring her in asap. I really do want her seen though. Isn't life wonderful?
I read about a lot of your kitties and most seem to be doing well except poor Mannie. I sure hope he does well with the new meds. I wish I could have left you notes but no time tonight. I'm thinking about you all. I'll try to post tomorrow or today whichever way you look at it. :razz:
