Good Saturday Morning, Everyone,

It is still very cold here for this time of year (11 degrees). At this rate we will not be paddling on April 1st!!! Rusty was eager to get up and have breakfast: kitty kisses, head butts, squirms, jumping down from the bed and jumping back up again. And breakfast (2 sittings) has been eaten, test and shot given (both successful), good play has been had with both Red Ears and Big Bug, and Rusty Cat has retreated to his cushion next to the radiator (as soon as the radiator heats up he moves to on top of the radiator, or to his perch above the radiator; his "winter mode" centers around the radiator!).

Busy day here today. Got to get stuff ready for the city (even though we're only gone for 4 days, it still seems like a lot has to be gotten together--especially when traveling with a diabetic cat!). Also have to go to the landfill--always fun! And the laundry has to be done.

Back later. Everyone have a good Caturday. Continuing to send those healing vines to our sick kitties.

Hey Kitties: I'm going to the City tomorrow and I hope that some of you will want to join me on Monday for our usual city pursuits: visiting the hotdog stand, partying on the roof, walking around the city and exploring. We can go to Central Park. See you all on Monday.

Morning guys - another great start today for Rusty. :-D

Love the radiator perch. I have a civvie that loves the heat vent: she sits on top of hit, covers the whole thing up. She's nice and toasty while the rest of us are cold. silly cat! I can't believe how cold it is there still. Looks like a late spring in so many places. We hit 60 the other day, most at not that nice though. I heard that it is supposed to be 90 in FL today. 90???

Good luck on the prep for the big city. The kitties are all excited that you are going... :lol:

RUSTY!!! ROAD TRIP! I am prepping the roadster as we speak. WOOT! I am soooooooooooooooooo excited. I love the big city - especially them hot dog stands. :cool: and Central park? we can go to central park? oh boy oh boy oh boy! This will be so cool. hey - lets get together today and plan some stuff for the big city. OK? ~ Mannie

4 days requires as much prep as a couple of weeks! is this a vacation kind of trip or business?

Last year on this date, Rusty came to stay with us for a while. I'm so glad that he has found Ella & Edward, because he wasn't as happy here with all my other kitties.

I love coming to read about Rusty every day -- he is a very special kitty.

It's always so nice visiting your condo and hearing about Rusty. Brrr...11 degrees sure sounds cold. I just talked to my Mom in PA, and she said the Groundhog messed up this year. He didn't see his shadow, so it was supposed to be an early Spring!

I, too, am a big Rusty fan. He's always so playful, beating up on Red Ears and Big Bug! Looks like a good cycle today, check out that +5!! :mrgreen: My civie, Lu, sits on the heater vent too, no matter how many times we shoo him off it. Every time we come home from somewhere, we know where we will find Lu! :lol:

Enjoy your trip to the city. Packing is good- it's always better to have more than you need than to realize you forgot something when you're miles and miles away! I hope Rusty has a good time on the road. It's still pretty cold here too, 30's mostly, but the sun is shining.


Rusty man, I'm coming too! Mannie will pick me up in the bus and we'll hit the park and raid the hot dog guy. It's gonna be so much fun!

I have to admit I'm a Rusty, Ella and Edward fan too. Ella and Edward for giving this guy a forever home. Rusty because he is such a wonderful furbaby. Hope you have a great day, wonderful weekend and have all your chores finished and can relax and play some games with Rusty. Now, off to feed for me.

Hi again,
I think PMPS is food influenced (Rusty ate his +9 snack right before PMPS!). Has anyone else noticed that when you edit your subject line the link to the previous day's condo in the body of the post no longer works? I had to retrieve the previous condo several times today to re-do the link. Finally gave up!
Packing up stuff tonight. See you all tomorrow evening.
