3/26 Oberon PMPS 338 (0.75 R),+3 268, +4.5 168, +5.75 101, mousie adventure, +6.5 77

I figure that it's overlaid on whatever else is going on, so without it he probably would have gone even higher.

338 at PMPS... dude, really? As usual, I'm not sure whether I'm dealing with a bounce or antibodies. But I'm inclined to sneak his dose up to 7.5 tomorrow to see what he does with it.

So apparently he's going to dive... I stayed up to get one last check, and it's a good thing, for a couple of reasons. In addition to the dive, there was a ruckus in the basement. Kitten Freya just caught her first mousie. Big deer mouse, too, not just a little house mouse. Had to chase her through the basement and then toss her in the bathroom with no hiding places until I could get her to let go of it. She growled at me the whole time, too. Too late for the mouse, unfortunately. Freya is looking all over the house for it now.

I remember years ago, Cosmo cornered a little baby mouse. Tapped it with his paw and thought it was a toy...never went into the ‘instinct’ though...We saved the mouse and took it back to the field.

Yeah, Freya is turning out to be quite the little predator. She had a death grip (literally, as it turned out) on the mouse the whole time, and was growling and trying to hide away from me and the other cats. She made it very clear that this was her mouse. Reminded me of my old cat Orpheus. At three weeks old (I was bottle feeding him) I gave him a toy fur mousie. He grabbed it in his mouth and backed away from me, growling. I knew I was in for quite a ride with him.
