What a wonderful Blue surf we had with the PM cycle last night. :-D It was a nice culmination to a slidage down from the morning cycle - YAY! It looks like he surfed there through the night, starting out this morning with a 123. Sweet!! I was uncertain what % carb to feed Mannie: not knowing if he truly did surf blue, or if he possibly could have gone even lower or did he go up after nadir and double dip back down? so.... considering his tendency to double dip I went with a 10 % this morning for his first meal. We are up at +1, went with a 5% for mini meal #2. Hopefully it wasn't a mistake, hopefully I have not killed what would have been a good morning... Paws crossed. Well done last night, and this morning Mannie! cat_pet_icon

and the bean overslept... Thank goodness for the bellowing civvie who was hollering at the foot of my bed: "Where is my breffis!!!!" Mannie was too involved with nanner inspection to give me the morning "you are late" nudge. I had to pry him from the nanner pile for testing. :roll: I did get a furry purry kitty for that, so the nanner prying removal must have been forgiven. Breffis was greeted with much happiness: nom nom purrrrr nom this is the good stuff purrrrrrrrr.... it always amazes me that they can make such noise while eating. :lol: There is much contentment in MannieLand this morning. He has checked out the outside from the slider, it is not raining, there is a hint of a gorgeous sunrise, and he waits for the door to open.... Looks like the Nanner King also wants to be the King of the Jungle... GO Mannie! dancing_cat

I need more ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) : there was not enough in that pot this morning, and the good stuff has yet to kick in. :shock: :lol: :lol:

Beautiful cycle of blue numbers today for Mannie! I love hearing how Mannie purrs while eating. Maggie doesn't purr, but I hear her smacking her lips. Oh yum, I haven't heard that peppermint white mocha mentioned in a while. Every time I go to Starbucks, i think about one but then end up always getting that straight strong coffee. Next time for sure! If I get a Mocha, I usually need two shots of espresso!

Hay Mannie, I think it's a great idea and would love to visit Rusty in the big city tomorrow and get one of those famous hot dogs. Yes, I remember the hot dog raid! And Central Park, too, yes! Count me in, and I'll wait for you to pick me up, Maggie Manx

Morning Ann! Oh I do love that white mocha thing - good stuff. it's a white chocolate, a little sweeter than the regular mocha - but... I just love the flavor. gets my sweets in for the day. :cool: :-D They do have good drip/strong coffee. I really like the Pike Place Blend. :-D

Maggie - YAY! I was hoping you could come... it will be so fun - we had such a good time last trip. love them dogs.... See you tomorrow1 ~~ Mannie

Look at Mannie go! He's doing great. Looks like the 10% for the 1st breffis was the way to go. I know how you feel about that. Chaos seems to be pretty carb sensitive so I am reluctant to give him something higher to start with so I don't wreck a good cycle.

Mannie, dude! Swing by here and grab me if you guys are going on a hot dog raid. I heard the stories about that and it sure sounds like a good time to me. My bean won't notice, she is in the kitchen playing with that big white machine and tripping over civie Lu. I'll be ready to go!

Wow, Mannie, you look terrific this morning!! Michelle, I'll bet you are so pleased to see these numbers. And a nice patrol around the grounds is just the thing in the spring (I'm still waiting for spring to come back: it was here for a day last week!)

Hi Violet - Guess so on the 10%. I was so unsure... His AM test and shoot is the first thing I do when I get up - no time for a +11 etc - so who knows if he was surfin, or headed down, or rising by the time ps is taken. I really hope I hadn't wrecked a good cycle. Mannie had a tendency not to be too carb sensitive, but still - I hate blowing cycles... :roll: Got lucky this morning. :cool: :-D

Hi Ella - Yeah, this is nice... no complaints here at all! Took a chance with that 10% this morning, and am glad it seems to have been a good choice. and yes - he was so happy to be able to go out on patrol - no rains yet (not that that would stop him) and the temps are mid 40's. YAY!

Rusty - dude - I m SO Stoked! We gots to rescue Teddy today - maybe we can take a road trip or sumthin'. He's in deep trouble.... but hey: way cool on the pukus episode. Mannie is looking fabulous today with wonderful blue, and now green numbers. I hope Mannie gets outside a little bit if the weather is nice and sunny. I think I have created a monster with Simon. I started letting him go out for a little bit because it has been so warm. Now, he wants to go outside all the time. He roams around the house howling with this horrible sound like a cat in heat and then stands by the front door. I wish I could let him out but I just don't have the time to watch him for more than a few minutes at a time. I guess I need to buy one of those little outside cat pens.

Hi Georgia - oh i know! Mannie doesn't howl, but he is persistent. I always thought it would be kinda of nice to screen off an area, so they could be out all the time and I didn't have to watch. He loves it out there, will go even if the rain is light. He's been out a couple of times today, in the drizzle.

Hi John! Thanks - it has been nice, but the silly boy fell off his board. :roll: I hope he can get back on - he will spike at +9/10, sometimes double dip at ps. Maybe we can hope for that.

hey Jordan - bummer on the being sick - so sorry: I hope you feel better soon. what to do with Willow and the eating. I sympathize with our beans who struggle with kitties that wont eat.... Mannie is the opposite - he will, and does, eat anything. maybe I could send some of his eating vines to Willow. Nice on the green night! SUPERB!
