When is the last time you had his teeth checked?

It’s been just over a year now so he is due to be looked at and have blood work done as well.
It doesn’t seem like his teeth are bothering him, he is happy to chew on Purebites and chicken hearts.
I have been looking for a vet that also does dentals though to have him checked just in case. I’ve also been meaning to ask if there is anything that I should be asking to have specifically checked with bloodwork? In the past we have just gone along with what the vet said

I would not waste money on a fructosamine but I think the rest of the bloodwork - CBC, liver function, kidney function/renal profile, T4 etc should be fine.
But for his numbers being extra bouncy and all over the place recently, is he showing any symptoms of anything bothering him?

He seems to be doing well, there doesn’t seem to be anything bothering him as far as we can tell. His weigh is stable and I try to keep an eye on his teeth, if I massage around his teeth and jaw he doesn’t flinch or pull away.
We plan on making an appointment at a new vet for next week when I’m off work, I don’t love our old vet.
