Happy Caturday!

Harley slept with me last night but I don't know if he snuggled or purred as I was gone the minute my head hit the pillow. He's eating more thanks to the steroid and peeing thanks to his daily juice bar treatments. Keeping an eye on BMs so things don't get problomatic again.

The 1u was a nice start but he needs more oomph. Wouldn't it be nice if all our sugarkits came with a handbook "you're cat's optimum dose under X circumstances is..." But that'd take the fun out of figuring it out. :lol:

Looks like I'm raising to 1.5u tonight. Or can I raiser higher, faster since we're working against the prednisolone? Like to 1.75 or 2? Any special dispensation for temporary steroid wonkiness?

Another question I don't know the answer to....Probably that ECID thing. As long as you monitor and test, I would think you will be fine. The only limiting factor I can see is that you definitely don't want a hypo. Treating one depends too much on getting him to eat and his appetite is off. I think I would go with 1.5

Sorry Sue, I seem to be asking all these wonky questions! Guess I'll figure it out once I see his PMPS. Fortunately his appetite is picking up with the steroid and he does the majority of his eating in the first six hours of the cycle.
