Checkers' numbers have been staying nice and low. I don't know much of what's been happening after his PM shot, so looking at the numbers, he seems to occasionally get close to the 50. I just get nervous throughout the day when I shoot him this low lately. I've already had a 24 period where he's been reduced by 0.25. Could someone take a look and give some advice please?

I'm going to take another bg reading to try to see if he's on his way up or down. But lately his numbers wiggle.

are you home to monitor today? If so, it's the perfect opportunity to test and see what he's doing during these cycles. Usually shooting low leads to nice flat cycles, and that's what happened yesterday. He surfed in a great range all day and all night. Perfect, and these are the kinds of numbers that give the pancreas a chance to heal.

The two main ways cats earn reductions here are by either dropping below 50, or by surfing along mainly below 100 for 7 days.

Okey doke, thanks, that's helpful. This reading was 100, so that would indicate going up slightly. I'll be home most of the day, but find I get zonky on weekends worrying about him.. We're shooting the 1.25 then. Apprciate the help!

Sienne, good to hear from you! :-D But :?: I don't understand, how are those two numbers the same?

Good idea though, I'll get the +1 as well as a +2. Better check that right now then.

due to meter variance...the numbers are essentially the same.
I'm sorry i can't be more detailed, but will let someone else elaborate as i don't have the info at my fingertips.
hate to throw out erroneous info...but i believe the industry standard allows for 20% meter variance.
