WCR: He wouldn't move when I got home, which is what prompted me to test him. He seemed and still seems a little out of it. He had buried his food under the rug. He has come out the bedroom and is in his spot in front of the computer... purring so I'm guessing he's okay.

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

Purring at the Printer?

Did he eat some of his food?

Give him some extra scritches from me and J.D.

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

He keeps wanting to do the dirties with the printer but he stops and licks his lips, so maybe his tummys yucky. He ate about 1/3 - 1/2 of what he normally eats, but he did eat. He said he wants to go visit J.D. where the shrimps are served and there are NO STINKY PUPPYZ! :)

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

Do you have any Pepcid AC to settle his tummy? I give 1/4 tablet to J.D., to help with nausea (since he's on ABs).
Stinky puppy

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

Yep... trying to get him to cooperate on taking it lol... he saw me pick up the package and disappeared. I'm supposed to be giving liver support stuff as well but instructions says 1 hr before or 2 hrs after a meal... makes it kind of hard for a couple of reasons #1 he's free-fed and #2 it's easiest to give him meds at night but I shoot right when I get home... and since I've been sick, I'm lucky if I'm awake a couple of hrs later... He's back, going to try to give him pepcid

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

Okay... that didn't go so badly. He's definitely off though. I'll likely give squids tonight because that seems to perk him up. Any thoughts on why he hides his food when hes in lower numbers? He doesn't do this any other time.

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

no input on the food hiding, but i sure hope both of you are feeling better soon, jordan.

I wonder if he's nauseous. Maybe the smell of the food makes him feel sick so he has to bury it.

So you got the pepcid in and he ate a little? Have you checked for ketones?

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

I hope you both are feeling better soon, too. Maybe he's stashing his food for when he feels better? We've had cats who 'saved' their food when we were out because in their minds they don't know when the'll be fed again. Maybe something like that's going on?

Healing vines are on the way. Do you think Willow would like a visit from the KTSS with some chicken soup?

Feel better,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

I feed Kazi in the bathroom - can't leave the toilet paper dangling any off the roll OR have a bath mat because she will 'cover' her plate/food with them if I do. No idea why they feel the need to bury it!

Hope Willow is feeling better soon...the 193 is certainly a lot better than a hi!

Re: 3/25 Willow AMPS~Hi, +10~193

Libby- yes he took the pepcid and then ate 1/4 can then went back after I left and ate another 1/4 can... ketones checked on Tuesday were negative and he's avoided being caught since

Ele- Thanks! Willow would like a visit from the KTSS and he asks that they bring the dog catcher for the hiney sniffing Stinky Puppy

Amanda- Willow usually uses the bath mat to cover his food or my clothes if something is nearby
