What a long 2 days it has been. Worked yesterday 25th 6a-2p then came back in 10p-6a. I didn't get a amps because he was stuffed under the bed and wouldn't come out. He did get a shot tho.
Came home to runny poo in 3 different spots. Went to sleep and he went next to my bed (the stench woke me) cleaned that up and found two more in kitchen. I am going to buy a door(used the last one during a snow storm to cover a generator) To cover the laundry room. I am just going to have to lock him up.
I also bought Bravo Raw food diet. And eliminated the chicken FF. I read on the internet they changed 5 ingredients.
I also have to find a groomer in my area that bathes cats. He is so dirty.

I'm sorry, Peggy. I really believe in raw food for IBD problems, if that's what's causing this. It could simply be the FF food. Gandalf got very bad diarrhea during his first and worst pancreatitis attack because the vet had me give him Hill's AD food. Even by the time I stopped giving the food, it was too late. Pamela encouraged me to try raw food and I could not believe he did not have another bout of diarrhea after the first syringe full of raw food. He was so weak he just sat in the litter box, in the poo. It was heartbreaking, as I'm sure this is for you. Can you bathe him yourself?

I'm not familiar with the food you're trying. Please make sure it has proper supplements added. I sure hope he gets better. Diabetes we can deal with - runny, stinky poo outside the box I wouldn't wish on anyone. Bless your heart for putting up with this. Mickey is very lucky!

Vicky- Poor Gandalf. That must have been awful for you both.

I got Evo and Core wet for mixings but.....I have the wrong packages of raw. I needed Bravo-complete and that unfortunately is not what I picked up. Ack! I have to go back and exchange it. I posted on health and just realized that it was wrong.
The poo thing I was just dealing with, but now, it is just making me cry. I cannot stop him.
I can bathe the back end of him but it is dangerous for me. He is such a mean cat. I know it is a crazy thought but, I might call the vet for something to calm him down before I attempt to wash him.

Thanks Sheila and Vicky!

Peggy, my heart goes out to you for all that you are dealing with your boy. I am glad you are giving raw food a try. I hope it works.

I was rummaging through this site today and found this page. This is the vet that took over Dr. Hodgkin's practice in CA. I know you already have tried some of this stuff but maybe something will stand out. She also lists some drugs she recommends at the bottom. I still wonder if the prozac would help too.

P.S. BTW, I don't remember you mentioning where you live?
