Yesterday was yellow day in MannieLand, well almost blue - there was that touch of pink at pmps. I hope he can get back to the blues today, another safe surf, as this bean will be gone for a while to go hiking with my youngest son. it isn't a long one, but we will still be gone for 5+ hours... so Mannie: surf safe today OK? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We had such a nice day yesterday. I was gone for most of it, at the NCAA swimming champs. DH reports that Mannie spent as much time outside as he could. I could tell when I got home - so much yard debris in the house, and stuck in his fur. he must have been rolling in anything he could find... :lol: :lol: :cool: Oh what fun for the cleaning crew, aka me, this summer. :roll: Well it is OK. He loves the outdoors. :cool: :cool: Mannie has his favorite spot where he can sit and watch all the yard happenings. He has his rounds, which he makes faithfully. After all these years there is a small path worn in the lawn. :cool: Andf the bench there?: his favorite sunning spot. Sure sounds good to me. And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am off later this morning to go with my youngest son. WOO HOO!, and so looking forward to this. So once again I will ask the Manster for a permission slip... nice low blue surf would be good Mannie. DS and I will only be gone about 5 hrs, so hopefully Mannie will behave this morning... Paws crossed!

Hey everybody!! I uhhhhh.... was wondering.... would you guys like to go rock climbing? i saw this really cool vid on the TV this morning and thought - wow we could do that! Piece of cake! We gots claws and everything... Maybe we could have a picnic on the mountain top when we get there, What'd'ya think? and it's OK to say: "Mannie! You are crazy!" heeheehee.... Let me know ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle ~O) nice yellow to start and looks promising for a permission slip from the Manster to go on the hike with your son, how fun! I hope he comes down to a nice blue surf. So cute with Mannie and his outings and the path on the lawn. Have a wonderful time today with your son and the hike. I hope for good weather. Yes, I will fit in a walk before the showers.

Mannie, rock climbing, yikes! Let's do it and show me the how it's done. The pick on top of the mountain sounds so nice, niptunis and all. Picks me up at the curb and thanks, Mags

Hi Ann - Yes, I think so too - permission slip has been granted. It will be fun to hike with the kid. He seems to enjoy it too, so off we go. I hope the weather holds... paws crossed on that one. yep, Mannie does love his outings too: that path cracks me up - they are such creatures of habit. :-D Good for you: out for a walk today. YAY!

Hi Michelle. What a lovely yellow day, Mannie is showing. Beautiful to go away for the day. Yeah, we all like green or blue, but this way you don't have to worry all day, right? :-D

I love Mannie bringing the yard in the house. Checkers just wants to eat grass, when he's out. Of course, he's in a harness, or he might go off into the woods, but he still has no interest in rolling in all the good stuff, like Mannie does.

Mannie! Dude! I am so in for mountain/rock climbing, when we get to the top can we meow our faces off so everyone can hear us? And so we can hear our echoes? Plus my bean just took a rope rescue class last weekend and she showed me some stuff this morning so i can set everyone up so we can be careful :-D She's such a worry-wart :roll: See ya soon!

Michelle, have a wonderful hike with your DS. Looks like Mannie is giving you permission to go for a few hours. Hopefully, he will be seeing a little blue later on. Love to hear about his meanderings around the yard. Thanks for your words of support on Simon's post today.

Hi Barb - that it was! The +3.5 I got just before I left was a little worrisome, only in that it was a sizable drop in 1.5 hours, so I had DH feed a couple extra portions while I was gone. so... came home to yellow, which is OK. He usually spikes at +10. so.... well: I knew I didn't have to worry, so all is well. oh yes on Mannie - he is such a mess when he comes in. He's really good about staying in his yard too - a huge relief for me. and thanks - DS and I had a really nice time!!

Hi Ella - thanks - weather was so nice today. it didn't get about 54, but it was sunny. No complaints. We all had a great time.

Hi Tracy - Agreed on the blues... he has been good about giving me travel numbers.. but i wonder if the yellows are from the extra fuds - been few more feedings than normal, just so he'd stay blue... Guess he though I'd want yellow. :lol: :lol: :roll:

Hi Georgia - thanks! we had a great time - it is always fun to do something like this with him. He so appreciates all we see when we are out on a trail. And I hope so on some blues for Mannie later today. Yep - he does love that yard - he'd spend all the summer days out there is he could. It's nice too in that he never wanders - always stays within sight. and you welcome: I hope all that works out for you - I know how hard it can be.

Hi John - he is/was a good kitty! I was so hoping that I wouldn't have to cancel becasue he was too low, or dipped to green to early. Seems he knew, gave me good traveling numbers. What a guy! I do hope you are right on the green.... OH OH: Tess has not given you a permission slip? I guess I need to get to condos next!

Great fun climbing today, Mannie. Weren't those ropes awesome? Leo really knows how to belay and kept all of us safe. I liked meowing so they could hear us in the next valley. Let's do rock climbing again. Moonie's songs were great and we could hear them all the way up on top.

Come on down Mannie! T says the green lagoon is warm tonight. Flat yellow could mean??? Great to hear that you had fun on the hike with DS! What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday. Yay! Too funny on the yard. I couldn't imagine if our kitties went outside. Charlie brings enough of the out in.

Hi Ella - and right you are - he is headed down, so I expect we will at least go blue tonight. And thanks! The hike was so very nice - deception pass on whidbey - maybe you remember the area? and thanks - evening will be one of relaxation. YAY!!!!!!

Rusty - DUDE! I know - Leo was amazing!! I LUBBED the ropes - they were so cool! I know on the belay and stuff - I never knew those words before, Leo sure knows his stuff. I am so glad he cam with us! heeheehee.... I so agree - they sure could hear us, huh. That was so fun, but I wish I sang better..... I was glad I could hear Moonie, it was so calming, ya kn ow? I think we will have to do this again for sure! and ok.... I will try for the lagoon.... PROMISE! ~~ Mannie

oops! Missed you Melissa - we must have posted at the same time... :? and yup on the flat yellow - he seems to be making his move: +2 is down enough, and for him, when it is there will be movement. I hope just for a nice low blue... green would be nice too! Too fu7nny on charlie adn bringing in the yard. Good thing that the kitties don't then. Mannie is enough for me - he brings in enough for 5 cats. :lol: :lol:
