ahhhhhhhh...... yesterday....... what to say: a bounce day, and bummer, and pink - again - this morning. :YMSIGH: :-D Well, we hope for a return to the land of the blues, maybe even green, today. Please Mannie? cat_pet_icon

And this from yesterday's condo, just because it made me laugh, and is part of what makes Mannie Mannie: "And this is so Mannie: when I came home from Seattle, I let him out, it was still sorta nice... well within a few minutes the rains started - thought well best let him in. So... go to the door: no Mannie, not in his usual stay dry spot when it rains, not on the deck. Then I see him - out on the lawn, in the rain, sitting, with his face into the rain, taking it all in. :shock: what a weirdo... no offense Mannie, but shesshhh! "

I had Mannie curled up on my feet throughout the night last night, which was nice. :-D :-D :-D He was MIA at test time... I didn't have to look far. He was in the nanners, reestablishing ownership will slobbers and chews and hugs. Apparently one of the civvies must have tried them out while he was asleep on my feet. :shock: too funny. Breffis consumed, membership in the clean plate club continues. Auto feeder ignored - as usual. It's a fairly mellow morning for the boy - always is when it pours outside. He has decided that rather than repeat his rain watch from yesterday that napping in the nanners is a better idea. :cool: probably so....

Have a great day everyone! Off to visit my DD and DGS later this morning. We need to set the plans in motion for DGS-sitting when my DD returns to work next Friday.

Good morning guys .. I loved hearing about mannie sitting in the rain .. I thought cat's don't generally like being wet? Guess that is where the weirdo part comes into play :lol: Hope you and your DD have a nice time visiting and have a great weekend!

Hi Barb - what a silly kitty - and ever so funny. He wasn't moving, sitting there getting all wet, sniffing the wet breezes. ever so weird... and :lol: :lol: :lol: on bringing the nanners out with him so they could get a washing. I will have to make that suggestion. That vision has me laughing.

Hi Ella - thanks - it will be fun today. Hard to believe that time for my DD to return to work is approaching. Nicholas will be coming here. My DD was gracious enough to understand how it probably wouldn't go over well with Mannie if I packed him up everyday... so, she said, before I could even ask, that she would bring him here, or I may even meet her half way and bring him home.

Moonie has been up a bit, but I know she will go down, the minute she finds out I will be going out for the day Sunday!!
If a drop of rain went on Moonie, she would FREAK!! She hasnt seen rain on herself since we brought her in the house when she was 6 mths old!!

Hi Michelle, too cute hearing about Mannie soaking up the Seattle rain. We had rain today and I got caught in it running errands. What a nice treat. I hope you are having a nice time visiting with your family. Nice to see Mannie come down, too.

Hey Roni - funny how kitties can be so different. Mine don't mind the rain too much - I guess they are used to it. Oh yes on Moonie going down the minute she figures out you are headed on out - it's uncanny watching her do that.

Hi Ann - thx - Had a grand time, got the plans sorted through with my DD for when I start caring for the baby. We were able to go for a walk - we had sun for a bit. NICE! Mannie was happy that it has been a nice afternoon - he's out in his pot in the yard, this time soaking up the sun. he does so love it out there.

Hi handsome boy! Blue looks good on you but green will look even better! :mrgreen: In time though, not too fast. I'm glad you got to enjoy some rain on your face. It sounded like a good time and we could sure use some here in Georgia to wash all this green pollen away! My black car now looks black with a green tint and my black stray kitty looks the same. I try to pat it off of him but he just flips on the ground and rolls so I just gave up. :mrgreen: He's a silly one. I hope you all have a great weekend!!

Hi maria - thanks for the visit! I can relate to the pollen - sometimes we get days like that, except ours is yellow. weird huh. I can see your kitty all green, covered in the stuff. Mine bring in ours indoors too. :lol: :roll: :lol: and thanks - I hope you guys have a great weekend too.

Glad you had a nice time with DD and DGS and got a walk in.

My Blue Heaven!!! You know tomorrow or later he'll be green dont you?

Latest Miracle--They took all tubes out of my Stepmom & cut off all meds & she is conscious, talking, joking wiith my DS, it's Like Unbelieveable!!! Drs told her yesterday that without tubes she would go!!
Guess my poor Dad has to wait !!! JEEEEZZZZZ!!!! Now we will go up to see her instead of mourn her!!
Life is truly wild!! Hugs from us!
