We upped Johnny to .25u tonight. He's snacking lots to hopefully give him a little parachute.

This was the front of a cute card we got in the mail recently. Gotta love Mitten's moxy!

@Julie: Johnny's goalie days started when he was a kitten. I had one of those small ironing boards that just sits on the floor, four or five inches off the ground. I left it out sometimes and one day, Johnny pushed a ball under it. I pushed it back and back and forth we went. I'm not sure how the game evolved into chair ball, but it was definitely something he thought of. He used to jump up onto the chair and meow to tell me he wanted to play. Thanks for asking. It's nice to remember this stuff. It was last year about this time that he would meow and want us to throw the ball up the wall to jump/chase, but then just sit there. It was frustrating at the time, but it turns out that he was not feeling so great. He was diagnosed in May. Insulin and FDMB brought him back to life. :smile:

I don't expect that he'll drop much lower, but we're prepared if he does. He's eating lots and we'll be monitoring. He definitely needed the boost in insulin! :smile:

Janice It looks like he's coming down nicely tonite! I usually do a ps and then a +3 and +5 as Moonie's nadir is about +4.5-+5 so I know if she is going to drop(of course she loves to surprise me :lol: )

Just when I posted a whole long post, down he goes!! :lol: :lol: Look at that!!--I would feed MC or Hc,or whatever your way is, and YES that Dose Crease IS Working!! :lol: :lol: Put the coffee on! Your baby is going surfing!! :mrgreen:

LOL Ronnie! Thanks for posting. I am so 'tainted' and used to Johnny's drops that I thought your post was in reference to the latest numbers --- that he hadn't gone below 50. He's a funny boy. In these situations, he is working on LC alone. He takes the long dive and then usually surfs with some LC (he only eats 2-3%). I think we're lucky that way. We have some MC/HC on hand, but unless noted on his chart, he's an LC boy all the way. Sensitive to carbs, sensitive to insulin...he's going to be a really sensitive hubby one day. ;-)
 
I know you are here for a while, I just cant get to so many condos every day !!
I thought you were in trouble, so I popped in--Sure, everyone has their way, Moonie does her drops, & then I cant get her up even with HC sometimes, so we resort to temptations or karo to bring her up-
I swear she drops just to Get the Temptations which she adores!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
She is a character!!OK so surf along Johnny tonite--I gotta get some Ni Ni as I had a really stressful day!!

Surf's up Johnny ! No more drops--Hugs & have a god Ni Ni :mrgreen: !!
