Same here. I'm usually lucky just to get up some numbers.

Not so lucky today.

You helped me learn a new word today! A myringotomy does not sound like any fun whatsoever. Does it hurt or is it a relief?

I just rmembered you asked me a question last night...

it's basically the procedure they do to small kids... putting tubes in their ears...
but kids get anesthesia so they will be still and probably not scream bloody murder.... :shock:

i get a topical numbing on my eardrum and I take my shoe off and squeeze it as tight as I can... trying to be still... while he either puts a new tube in...
I don't generally need a new hole.
The hard part is being as still as possible.

But after it's in, I can breathe again. it opens up the passages...
I 'm just a mess.... :roll: :lol:
