Good morning,

after being quite depressed yesterday having detected that wound again and the bg not going below 400 I wonder what happened last night. We had the best curve ever, the bg went down very slowly and stayed in a good range for hours. No crazy drops, no hectic feeding to stop a further drop. Everything very smooth. I got a decent amount of sleep.

This afternoon we will see the vet because of the wound. As my regular vet is on holiday, we will see her young collegue. I hope she can manage, as Binie is not very cooperative. But somehow I feel positive today. Binie is in quite a good mood besides licking the wound from time to time. Maybe it was a reliefe, the wound opened up? But I try not to make too many assumptions. I will see what the vet says.

Have a good day everyone! :bighug:

Thank you so much for your support and kind words Staci! I hope we will manage. Unfortunately she will need an operation but we try to postpone it a little so Binie has the chance to be more regulated. It will be on the 22th of april. In the meantime we try to treat the wound conservatively. I try to keep breathing. All the best for you and sweet Ivy! :bighug:
