Good Morning, Everyone,
This morning Rusty was full of incredible energy. He tore downstairs, then tore back upstairs looking for us to hurry up and get down there for his test and breakfast and shot (all of which went well). Breakfast (both installments) has been eaten, a little playing accomplished, and now Rusty is relaxing on his cushion next to the radiator. It's a cold (11 degrees), sunny, spring (!) morning. Last night, at bedtime, I fed Rusty a teaspoon of FF Turkey & Giblets as a prelude to his bedtime snack. Such a demonstration! He knew it was coming and danced and meowed while I was putting it into a dish, and then tore into it. He even preferred it to his freeze-dried treat (which he also gets at bedtime), eating the FF first!! What on earth can it have in it to produce a craving like this??
I plan to take advantage of the cold, sunny weather and go to the X-country ski area this afternoon. Although skiing is beginning to take a back seat to paddling in my mind, the waterways are mostly still frozen! (Last year we were paddling on April 1st, but I don't think that will be possible this year.)
Everyone have a great day and we send healing vines to all our sick kitties,
Ella & Rusty
p.s. I downloaded the newest vesion of the Opera browser and am trying it out this morning. It is really fast!
