I have to keep my eye on him, when he gets really hungry he ventures into the kitchen where the dry food is. I've been slowly trying to get my 5 dry food eaters to switch but this is going to be a loooooooong project! I have notes all over to remind myself not to leave the dry food out! So far I've been good at remembering to not leave the dry food out but there have been some close calls.

I'm not sure which is harder, treating for FD or switching from dry to wet food :lol: :lol: :lol:

I know what you mean about the dry food. My cats eat wet but I do have a couple who like to munch on dry so I leave out about 1/2 cup per day for them but Sid cannot get to this food. The civvies all get fed on my dining room table and Sid can't get up there or at least has never tried. I'm not sure he can see well enough to jump that high so I guess I'm lucky in that respect.

Keep those good numbers Mikey! You're an inspiration to us on the roller coaster ride!

Agree with you on difficulty to switch to canned. It is real difficult. The manufacturer must have put addictive stuff inside. My gang loved dry knibbles, they used to have 7 different kinds of brands on buffet here ( there are 21 in the gang!) Each with their own favourite. Now I took away all free feeding on dry & just any type of dry I put out for those resistent dry food junkies, they gobble it! :mrgreen:

:evil: I think Mickey got into the dry food today. I was there and taking up the bowls but didnt get them fast enough. I didn't think he ate any more than 1 kibble. I will try to get another reading at 4am and before his normal time in the morning. Not sure what to do if he is still high?

Let's see how he does tomorrow...I was hoping that was a kibble number but you don't want to set him back.
