Good morning, hope everyone is doing well and all cats surfing safely and eating well.

Ivy got a slight increase this morning up to 1.75 units.
Hoping for a little better curve without the drastic dives.
If only she would become a flat curve kind of girl already
Still waiting for one final piece of labwork result from 2 weeks ago.
Guess I need to bug my vet’s office. Either they never got the data or forgot to call me
Ivy is enjoying her new turkey recipe as an alternative to her lamb diet.
Slowly adding more every week so she will have 2 proteins to eat.

How beautiful and lovely she is! When I have tests done at the vet lab, I have to insist several times; they always forget because they have many animals to attend to, or so they tell me. Keep insisting and see what answer they give you. What a beautiful sunny day it is in your country today!

I did get my answers from the vet for the FGF-23 test (kidneys) and it was good (I just hope the hyperthyroid doesn't mask the true condition of kidneys in this test).

Hope Binx is doing well on his methimazole and feeling well. Hope you both have a mellow day

I have to bug my vet too, Xelo, it takes a phone call to get my labs sent to me each time but I do make sure I have all copies.
It's so helpful to see what is going on.

I have been worried about the kidney values as well! Looks like Ivy is holding her T4 numbers so if she’s in good range there, does that unmask anything the hyperthyroid might’ve originally been masking?

I’m not sure. Supposedly if they are brought into normal range, the true kidney values should be more clear.

I don’t know if that takes time to show up or it’s immediately.
Guess I have more research to do

And the sticker idea is great. I encourage all the pet parents to have it. I also have one in the front door to my apartment.
