Yesterday's condo

Hello LL! Hope you've had a better Monday than I have!

First, China does something stupid (and yes, I retested at AMPS and got the same thing). I have no idea what's going on with her!!

On the flip side, I ended up having to be gone most of the day, so seeing the 200's made me feel better about leaving. Got more stuff done for DM's apartment, and the first coats of paint are down. Place looks like an easter egg, just like I was worried about! If she likes it, that's great, but if she calls me sometime complaining about a 6 foot rabbit waking her up in the middle of the night, I'm going to say "I told you so"!

I'm hoping it lightens up as it dries though! Had 8 copies of the key made at 3 different places and none of them work! Ended up buying a new doorknob instead, as well as curtains for the living room and bedroom (we couldn't remember if there was a window in the kitchen...there is) so we're slowly but surely making progress.

I'm really at a loss as to what to do with China, so if any of you have a good idea, I'm more than ready to hear it!!

Sorry China's numbers are driving you crazy. I don't have any advice. Hopefully someone will be able to give you some good advice. I'm glad you're getting things done for your DM's apartment. Hopefully she'll like the paint colors. How is your knee feeling?

The knee isn't doing too well. I stayed off it all weekend, and it still is more swollen and hot than it's been in a long time. Not sure what's going on there either. As much as possible I'm keeping it elevated and I'm back to using this cooling machine thing that the doctor told me to start using again, but although it feels better while it's on, I can't leave it on forever.

DM and I were discussing that we really didn't plan this whole thing too well when we scheduled both knee surgery and a big move in the same month...lol

I have to think something's up. The last 4 nights at PMPS, China's been high (for her) and had little or no appetite, which then results in her going low and bouncing back up.

Sure wish I had some idea of what to do for her!

Sorry about the roller coaster times, Chris. Paws crossed the paint will look nicer when dry and you get all you need to get done. Healing vines for your knee

I hope China will start behaving in a nice pattern for you soon...you're a good bean, don't doubt that :YMHUG:

I understand why you feel like an "awful bean", but you are NOT! You are a wonderful mama to China and do so much more for her than many people who call themselves animal lovers ever would. It's just that you care so much, you want to be able to make everything right, and it just doesn't work that way. Hang in there. You have so much on your plate right now, it's easy to get frustrated. It will get better!

On the lighter side, if your DM sees a 6 foot rabbit, tell her his name is Harvey and he's just a young one, as he'll eventually grow to be 8 feet! :lol:
