Only AMPS and PMPS values today and AMPS was even higher than I remembered at 376. Definitely seems bouncy after dips into 80s last night. I just got back from work and fee Raven his dinner and gave him regular 2u shot at 6:45pm EDT. Preparing to give him his regular 10pm meal and then planning to fast per vet request in preparation of abdominal ultrasound tomorrow morning — unless numbers drop dramatically in which case I may give him another small snack at +4/5.

Then planning on giving him a half dose (1u) in the am w/o food — unless his number is below 150, in which case I might give 0.5u. Nervous but trying to play it cool like Raven.

Thanks for everyone’s advice.

I have Instinct original rabbit pate, which I’m confused about. I found online that it has really high carb content - 16 % on dmb or something like that but just double checked the canned food list on the FB Feline Nutrition group and that says 3.something % — very confused now.
The Catinfo website link has the original Rabbit at 6%. I think I gave it once or twice to Neko and it never lifted her numbers. She was quite carb sensitive so I would have noticed if it was higher carbs.

Yes we’ll have to see. I do have quite a lot on my plate with work, but maybe I can do some work from the car. Especially if they can get me a better estimate when I get there.

I see. I don’r really have any medium carb food that’s rabbit. The Rawz rabbit still hasn’t arrived. Got held up in transit. I have the raw food which I believe is zero carb and I have Instinct original rabbit pate, which I’m confused about. Actually Chewy also says 3.something. -so I guess that’s not MC. https://www.chewy.com/instinct-orig...bkzP79JPhYbPPGRUdet8rjvIWoxCkcysaAvJTEALw_wcB

Very helpful. I need to build up my stock of different carb level rabbit foods. I believe Ziwi Peak also has some higher carb ones. So I’ll get them for the future. Tonight I might just have to crumble some freeze dried rabbit treats on top his food and hope for the best. His numbers so far are still quite high. So I’m hoping he won’t drop too far. Thank you so much for your advice!

We had another member whose cat was only eating rabbit, and they used the Instinct LID for MC. That was within the last year.
