Yesteday's condo

Yesterday
AMBG=200 (skip, fasting for b/w); +16=175; +20=211
PMPS=288 (s1u); +1=279; +2=150; +3.25=243; +7=212

Today
AMPS=178 (s1u); +2.5=187; +5.25=160; +8=171
PMPS=158 (s1u); +2=187

Lucy is feeling fine and ate breakfast well.

I just got a call from the vet.
She was very happy with both their results.
The kidney values are stable for both Lucy and Ginger.
Lucy's protein value is slightly better.
Lucy's WBC is high, but it's most likely due to her chronic inflammation.
Ginger's RBC is little high, but the vet think it's because Ginger was slightly dehydrated.
I talked to her about Ginger's high blood pressure, and the vet said she'd definitely like to keep a watch, but doesn't want to medicate her just yet, especially because her kidney values are stable.
Ginger does get super nervous at the vet, and I know yesterday they didn't take time to clam her down before getting the reading.
They are going to e-mail me a copy of their results, and I'll update the lab ss.

I also asked her to send a referral to the dental specialist for Lucy, and asked to put a request for a anesthesiologist in the referral.

Woo hoo on great results! It's so awesome they are both stable. I'm glad you can get a referral to the dental specialist and maybe get Lucy's mouth all cleaned up. Paws crossed on positive outcome for that too!

Lucy, you keep eating good and feeling fine for your bean. Scritches to both kitties, I know how scary the vetty is! You were both good girls cat_pet_icon

I updated the both Lucy's & Ginger's lab results in the lab SS.
It look longer because they changed some of the reference range....

I would really appreciate it if you could take a look and let me know if you notice anything I didn't mention earlier.
The vet is going to call me again when the cobalamin test comes back, and I'd like to be ready with questions.

No advice from me, Mariko. Just wanted to say how glad I am that the results were good for both your babies. I'll be very interested to see how Lucy does after the dental. It could change the whole game, you know! Hopefully for the better!

That's great you got good b/w results back for both kitties. I hope you find a good specialist to take care of Lucy's mouth. That's great she's feeling good today.

Hi Mariko,
Good news about both kitties' lab results. I don't know much about all those abbreviations, but i'm sure that someone who u.nderstands what they mean will be along to guide you.

I'm really glad that Lucy had a good day.

I think both girls' labs look pretty good. The thing that stood out to me was the high white blood count on Lucy's labs but if your vet is certain it's the chronic inflammation, I'd trust her. She seems like a good vet.

I also wouldn't worry about Lucy's BUN. It's pretty stable and could just be up a tiny bit from a little stress.
