Hi all, I have a theory. After reading lots of posts yesterday about our cats' changing food preferences lately, I got to thinking...it was about the time of the Supermoon that Tessie Lou started boycotting the automatic feeder and not eating her 4am snack. She also stopped liking Grammy's Pot Pie, a previous favorite. Maybe we should blame it on the moon--supermoon that is. We all know how much our babies are affected by that moon business. Just a thought, FWIW!

Tessie's backside was very wet when she came out of the LB this morning. Oh please no, not another UTI, cystitis, whateveritis. nailbite_smile She has been doing so well lately!

The Moon can affect the cats some do. some dont...Maybe TL is one-just watch the next time.
Moonie sometimes has a wet bottom & I clean her off with a wet towel...Hey they dont always have perfect aim :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: --Have a great day & we are happy to have new singer....Hugs from us!

So cool that Moonie let Tessie Lou join "Moonie and the Sugarcats!" She is really proud to be a member of the choir, although I think she was putting on airs a bit this morning... I'll have to watch for signs of diva behavior now. What a great party, huh? I wonder what the neighbors thought about the music! :lol:

Too much fun with the choir and the diva airs. maybe justifiably deserved! :-D Fuuny photo that Celi posted., she does come up with the best.

punkin stopped grooming when he got first diagnosed and i bought these cat washcloth thingies like baby wipes that are safe for pets. they work surprisingly well!
 
I hope its not a UTI. I see in your profile she battles them often. One of my friends cats is starting adequan for her bladder. I haven't read up on this. Don't know if its a canadian thing. Have you heard of it?

I like your moon theory!!! You are probably on to something :lol: Others would say its because she's "a cat". (Don't listen to them).
 
Hi Lisa! Glad you dropped by today. Michelle, yes, what a great party last night and such fun with the choir/band and Tessie Lou's singing debut. :lol: So great about Mocha==she makes you think our kitties might get there someday, too. Their hard work sure paid off. Julie, are those washclothes washable, or disposable? I just use baby wipes, although she is offended by them. No further developments today, so I probably just overreacted. No Karrie, haven't heard of adequan. I'll check into it though. Always try to stay on top of current meds for uti's since she's prone to them.

Tessie Lou is giving me looks (actually pointing to the kitchen with one ear), so it's time for midnight snack! Then, I'm OTB! Have a great night, all you night owls out there!
