3/22 Tasha's OTJ Trial day 14 AMBG 135 ?! +3=128+9=103

I don't get it??? Last day of the trial and her last bg test her highest BG number on the trial. Will check again at the +3 confused_cat


*Edit: found evidence of chewed up cardboard boxes with tape on it. Adhesive glue actually has a bit of sugar or starch in it I think. I know envelope glues does. Could this be the culprit?

Gave her little food and checked her in an hour at the +2. She was 114. Checked again at the +3 up to 128.
I wonder what is going on here?
The only other variable from eating some packing tape, was that she missed her late night snack. I feel asleep. I did get to feed her a little 2 1/2 hours before the AMBG. With these elevated numbers, should I be thinking it may be time for insulin again? Not running to it right away, but these numbers are clearly not in normal range.

Tasha may just be messing with you. Given that Tasha can be a fussy eater, the packing tape may have had more of an effect. Test in a couple of hours. These are borderline numbers and she should be able to bring herself down.

No Panicking just yet!! Remember when Spot got that 180 a few days ago....no rhyme or reason...just a fluke...could be that's all that's going on here. Hang in there....give a little bit of food and retest and see where Tasha goes. It will be ok...Maybe Tasha had to much fun at her OTJ party.

That is more like it :mrgreen: I think that packing tape did her in. I now finally feel we are officially OTJ (wish it had been green, but only 4 points away.)
