yesterday..... flat yellow, well, for the most part. I thought maybe he'd break that this morning. I was a little "huh" with the 430. :? I hope he will come down through out the morning cycle. All is well in MannieLand. :-D :cool: He is a bit disgruntled over the turn in the weather yesterday - rains most of the day, which severely curtailed his adventures in the great outdoors. It was just too funny to watch him look out the door, see the rains, and let out these visible sighs, turn around and head back to his bed. poor guy.... We have sun on the forecast today - things are looking up. Mannie was one happy dude this morning. I could not test fast enough, or get the shot ready, or feed. His "feed me now" dance was in full swing - such excitement over a can of Surf and Turf! :lol: :cool: He is still ignoring the auto feeder - well duh, and we serve his royal highness. Bean 0, Mannie 89. All is well with the nanner pile. :lol: :lol: He spent most of last evening hugging the lot. You gotta love it.

I hear that a new singing group was formed last night: Moonie and the SugarCats. Seems they were a huge success at Mocha's OTJ party. Mannie was so impressed, and could not say enough great things about the new group. Tessie Lou made her debut, accompanied by none other than the known opera protege Rusty, and the feral rising star Gary. You gotta love that too.

have a great day everyone! It is sunny here today - cold , but sunny. I hope to spend the morning on the local trails, do a little local hiking.

a little post script... auto feeder for breffis #2 swings into action. HOORAY! Mannie head it, jumped up, went and gobbled it up. :shock: :-D :lol: Will wonders never cease.

Good morning guys .. well, at least the red floor did not last long this morning ... hopefully the pink and yellow floors come and go too .. Mocha was so impressed by Monnie and the Sugarcats last night .. she can't stop going on and on about them OR the wonderful fuds that were there .. hope you guys have a great day!

Moonie is so thrilled that everyone loved her & the Sugarcats, the arrival of Tessielou, and is so happy a good time was had by all--Rusty, also did fantastic as Moonie's furever partner in song!!
Man she is tired though!--Have a great Tuesday! WE lubs you!!

Morning Michelle. Yuck on the red start, but good that Mannie is coming down. Checks is going the other way, could Mannie just grab his hand and haul him down to the lower floor?
Michelle, where do you get food like Surf and Turf? That's Merrick's , right. The only store near me,, carrying Merrick has only one flavor ....don't even remember what it is, but no one here talks about it.
Do I need to go to a real pet store...like Petsmart?

Morning Roni - looks like Moonie and the SugarCats are well on their way to kitty stardom. Mannie was very impressed - he's always loved the Rusty and Moonie duets - fun stuff. -- and looks like Mannie has decided that the red and the pinks are not for him. Phew!

Hi Barb - :-D I have asked Mannie to grab checks on his way down. He said that was an affirmative. :-D
on the foods. I buy it at Petco, as it is the only place here that I have found the Merrick Line. I know my Petsmart does not carry it. I think (??) that you can also buy it online through PetFood Direct - and I have no clue on the shipping costs. It is something on my to do list - check them out. I just never seem to get around to it. :roll: Petco will also ship, but their shipping costs can get "up there". In the Merrick line I feed Mannie Surf and Turf (3%), Southern Delight (4%) and Cowboy Cookout (5%) as staples. there are others that are higher in BG (Grammie's Pot Pie @ 8%,and Thanksgiving Day Dinner @ 12%),and a few others that I have not tried yet. I save those for times when he needs a carb boost. Mannie just loved SnT, and CC: gobbles them up. Most of them carry a little fish content, with the exception of Cowboy Cookout, should that be a concern. I read in Ella's post (I think it was Ella) yesterday how Cowboy cookout is highly recommended by Dr Lisa. Hope that helps... I will copy this into your condo too in case you don't get back here.

Nice to see Mannie is coming down from nasty red to cool yellow. A little more, Mr. Mannie and your bean will be very very happy!

We are having issues with the timed feeders also. Seems that they don't open up when Spot wants them to. He woke me up almost every hour from 11:30 am until 3:00 am with the kitty kisses and won't stop until I go open the feeder or give him a snack. This has been going on for a few days now....sigh.

Binks' auto feeder malfunctioned this morning as well...despite the fact that he was standing beside her yelling for her to put down the coffee and get the cat food :lol:

good morning, guys!! glad to see Mannie is already headed downward this morning! Willie too was unexpectedly high this morning... after a VERY flat blue evening, the 250 at +11 (don't ask why we were up at +11!!) was a bit of a disappointment.

Love that "Moonie and the Pussycats" took off!!! Though, I must admit, I did feel a bit bad that Rusty, another of our resident singers, didn't make the band name, but it is too often how it goes in rock and roll, right? The Gwen Stefanis and the Haley Williams get all the spotlight... but it's all about the music, right??? :lol: :lol: :lol: I hear Rusty had some amazing solos anyway!! It truly sounds like the party was a rousing success!!

Hoping the weather clears soon so that Senor Nannerking can get back outside! Supposed to storm this afternoon, so I had to get all the windows closed today. Think Willie was disappointed!!

Hi Christie - Yeah - Mannie was the same last evening too, though his flat was yellow... started to move up about +6. no clue why - usually i always get a drop when the yellows are there for a while. not last night though. -- and so true on the Moonie and the SugarCats- too fun. me too though on Rusty - not too sure how to get him the group name too. Maybe they just have to be a separate duet. :-D -- and we have been partial sun and clouds most of the day. I let him out anyways when I got back from my morning hike to the shoreline. he stayed maybe 10 minutes and is now camped out by his food bowl. :shock: with a 247 it's not like he needs food.... silly boy.

Hi Karrie - :-D yeah, we are alike in that regard. Both outdoor nuts. :lol: maybe it will bring down the BG's. ok Mannie? run around the yard a little, find those blues.... :cool:

Willie, my man! the party was cool wasn't it. I KNOW - I am pooped too. I went on a couple of practice flights - off of my roof and stuff. I have this really cool rainbow chute - but wow - that was a little freaky.... The neighbors were a little confused.... it was fun watching them when I took off the roof... I'm glad my bean went hiking so she couldn't tell me to stop... oh, i know on the old thing - me too..... I think I will come and join you in your lawn chair and we can sip niptinins... ~~ Mannie

I don't even know if there is a brick and mortar Petco. I need to find out if Petsmart carries Merrick and Wellness. I want to try one can each of different flavors. I can order online if Fussbudget likes any of them.

Hi Barb - no problem - and yeah on the dial up - omg! how do you deal with that.... I feel your pain.
Good luck with the food search. Both Merrick and Wellness come in the 3.? whatever size too so you don't have to buy the bigger cans in case he doesn't like them. My Petsmart does carry the Wellness, not the Merrick. Maybe it is different where you are? I hope so.

Oh geesh, looks like Mannie means business tonight. Hope he slows down so as not to keep you up all night. I'm late in reading condos, but I heard Mannie used his auto feeder today.

Hey Mannie, thanks for picking me up last night for Mocha's party and for those marshallow rice krispy treats with a cherry topping, Maggie's favorite. Sorry I missed the get together today, as my Bean was too tired and we sacked out on the recliner.

Hey Mannie, My mamabean went mountain climbing today and turned off the computer, so I'm only getting online now!! Wasn't that a grand party for Mocha? The food was fantastic. I had so much fun cookin' and grillin'. And singing! I thought I was going to be a SugarCat, but Moonie said I was better as a soloist (and in duets). Oh well, maybe she'll reconsider when I go to audition.
Nice PMPS, man! Sounds like you had fun diving off your roof. See ya tomorrow and let's do something fun. Maybe some more roof diving?

Hi Ella - love the mountain climbing! I went on a local shore hike today, tides were out to a -1.3. It was fun - even more so when I decided that the legs needed more so hit the upper trails and then looped back to visit the shore again. and now I am tired... 9.5 miles i think, or thereabouts.

Michelle: sorry I didn't get to any condos today. I had to leave early and Mike was in charge of everything inc condo. I had two seconds to post a quick note on ours (from my DROID...LOVE IT!!). Mannie is looking awesome tonight...I know you've been wanting him out of those ick numbers. At least he gave you the night off last night in preparation for tonight!!! I think everyone in LL visited your condo today! :lol: :lol:

83 @ +6.5, fed a little more 5% - as this bean is toast, and I need to get some sleep. Mannie should be fine - right Mannie? I left him a little food - hope he finds it and not the civvies. Jury is out on that one. :roll:
