Oh just look at those bootiful numbers for a bootiful boy! We're going to claim Mr. Green even tho' AMPS is a bit over 100 - it has food under it. All 5 P's are in place, he's awake and looking out the window. All he wanted to do during his pink pj party yesterday was sleep or look around with a frown on his face.

I made a change to the way our spreadsheet colors numbers - if KT is in 'normal' numbers, they're colored green. Under 100 is the standard green, between 101 and 120 is a light green, 121-200 is blue. This is in the legend of colors so it can still be easily understood.

WE HAZ ALLERPLEX!!! THANK YOU GRAMS LIZ!! Snow didn't think much of it but he does NOT like beef flavored anything - I did get a bit in him. Leo's another story - he LOVES it - licked the plate clean! I'll keep trying to figure out how to get more in Snow as he really needs it to support his asthma/breathing. He doesn't like pill pockets either so that won't work...I'm more stubborn than he is tho'..... ;-)

It's cold and dreary here today - even supposed to freeze this weekend. I had SO hoped this was all over - did they grab a badger instead of a groundhog? :lol:

I hope that Snow will accept the Allerplex. Rusty gets it as a "treat", mixed into a teasp. of turkey baby food and a little water. I finger feed it (because it is a treat, and that's what we do with his hairball "treat"). I didn't want to put it into his regular food because I was not sure he would like it and didn't want to "mess up" his regular food. As it turns out, he loves it. Good luck! Does Leo have breathing problems, too?

When the dropping number comes about onset, there's gonna be Karo showers here today! Ugly pinks one day, lows with syrup the next day....I sure am glad I cut his dose this morning! He DOES respond to 'micro-dosing'. There's a good conversation going on in Think Tank concerning this very thing right now. We're using caliper dosing to be more accurate thanks to Marje. I've wiggled his dose around several times over the last week as I know MY cat's response to those fat/skinny and even a 'dose increase/decrease' of .25u's - we have MAJOR history. I would never advise a new person to do this!!

ELLA! Good Morning! ~O) ~O) If I could figure out how to put the Allerplex in a Temptations treat, Snow would take it without problems. I even tried mixing it with his favorite gravy food yesterday but no go. Leo spent 3 days in the hospital last week with severe breathing problems and pneumonia. His last a/b shot is tomorrow but I saw a bit of coughing again this morning. His lungs sound a LOT better but they're still not clear. Since I don't know about his first 2 years and breathing issues, I feel I need to treat it as a chronic type issue. It can't hurt and if it helps, WOO HOO!!!
