I decided to up his dose to 1.5u this morning, but when I went to administer the shot he moved and growled at me, I got the plunger down but I think I might have missed getting his injection in him. I smelled a bit of insulin but I didn't want to risk double dosing him so I waited for his PM dose to administer again. When I saw his BG level was 400 tonight I figure I did miss him, checked him again at +10 and his levels went down.
Poor bugger has a huge bruise on his ear from a bad poke, rubbed arnica and pain relieving neosporin on him and gave him a little hot washcloth rubdown... he was a happy camper! Hope you're all having a good start to the week!
