Good morning,
Blue and green Libre bg overnight. There were a few times I thought she was going to dip much lower. She held steady enough that I could go to sleep. I did get a few alerts overnight of her dipping lower on the Libre.
We shall see what today brings.
We had a good cuddle and our session before breakfast this morning. Very delicious :cat:
Hope everyone has a safe day ahead and a nice Friday. :cat:

Good morning!
Looks like Ivy cleared the bounce big time :)
Surf safe, pretty girl. Play steady at the beach! :D
Mikan will try joining you down there :cat:
Glad to hear that you had good sleep last night! It is so needed.

Have a great Friday, Staci. Yay Friday :bighug::bighug::bighug:
I’ll bet Mikan meets Ivy today. They both seem to want to be at the beach. Just no limes, please.:D
I could see she worked her way down overnight on her graph and was headed there. Glad she ditched the bounce.
Hope you all have a nice Friday, Kit :bighug::bighug::bighug:

They’re “Libre” limes, so it’s fine. They are higher on a handheld device! :bighug::bighug:
Hi Staci! Love you got those good cuddles this morning!

I’m getting more confused about the libre readings. Is your libre only lower than the handheld meter when in low numbers or all the time? With mine, every time we test it against the vet reading, the handheld is always lower? I know there is a time difference with the libre but it never gets a reading as low as the vet at within that time frame. Makes me wonder if when he’s low on the libre, if he’s even lower on a handheld. Can this be a case of ECID? Or is it because I’ve never compared the lower readings? I would have thought at the vet would be higher due to stress, not lower….

I hope Ivy slows a bit for you and surfs safely today!
Have a great Friday!

Good meowning and Happy Furriday!

Looks like it will be a busy and exciting (nerve wracking :nailbiting:) day for you. Sweet Ivy, please slow down and hang out on the beach. Hopefully your presence there convinces Nestle to put those funky swim trunks on once again.
Stay safe Ivy, we'll be watching throughout the day.

Hi Deb, first, what meter does your vet use? Pet or Human?
Second, I would think they may be highly at vet due to stress, but ECID.
My vet has no reason to test Ivy when I go, so I have no idea. She barely lets them touch her.

I generally only test her when she does low to see if she’s low enough to intervene with carbs, reduce or just monitor.
Once in a while I’ve tested mid range or higher numbers. But rarely because I don’t want to get mauled for no real reason.
If she’s high I’m not really doing anything anyway but waiting for her to drop and break a bounce or something like that.

I can’t really speak to Tiger as I only know how Ivy reads and my meter reads. Only you will know how Tiger reads on your handheld against the Libre if you are able to test him.
I do see other people’s cats can read lower or similar to their Libre reading. But that’s not my general personal experience.

I think the only way to know is to test your individual cat and get a feel of him a mb d your meters. o_O

Hi Karolina, I hope Nestle put on those funky swim shorts to join Ivy today. She’s been lingering at the beach all morning.
I’m waiting for her to bump a bit so I can go grocery shopping (ugh). I’d rather crawl back in bed, but then we would have no food. Bummer ;)
Hope you all have a nice Friday!

Thanks Staci. We have them test when they change the Libre since we’ve not been able to test…we have them use our test kit tho.
I appreciate your input!

I’m glad to see she has settled back down into greens and is being lovey, Have a great evening.
Thanks, Marje. She spent a few hours in greens from what I can tell on the Libre. Very flat graph in that range.
She was burrowed in my closet so couldn’t re-test her after the first confirmation of green.
Very cuddly the past day or so. Love when she’s so sweet. My Jekyll and Hyde cat

And now we bounce up all the way to red. Argh.
Hope you have a nice night, too :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Jekyll and Hyde LOL!!!:p:D:D:D:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Hope you have a relaxing evening!!!
