hi all,
prayers go out to Butthead and Payne...and all kitties who are not well....and as always keeping in my prayers those who have lost their kitties....

didn't open a condo Sat or Sun....been feeling pretty down...Rocket looks pretty tired...though he is eating, using LB and still going out on the balcony(except for today as it is snowing)...he seems to be getting more tired...it's hard to explain....

so i suggested to DH to do spring clean up and i guess he wanted to help me get my mind off of things so he agreed...and we know it takes a lot of nagging to get men to do stuff...so i took advantage of him willing to help out....and by the time i got a chance to sit down or relax it was time to do either meds or feed Rocket so i never got a chance to open up a condo....we stayed in the yellows for the most part...saw a couple of blues....so as of today we are back up to 3.0u.....i have never seen a cartridge almost empty....so when that one is done it will be a first for us here....

his SS is updated except with today's numbers....he's had a so so weekend....alert, sociable, but tired...so i'm trying to make the most of it with him...giving him lots and lots of attention...Comet is doing fine...cone is finally off! and i'm sure he is happy with that!

please continue to pray for us...

Good strategy staying busy Claudia. Is Comets cone still on?

Before the old Rocket appeared I know you were happy when he was eating. Glad he's still eating. Its snowing here today too. Ella is keeping most of it with her though. Or at least the Eastern snow.

Keeping you in my thoughts. Hang in ther Nurse Claudia.

i made a mistake on his +5.5 ....i posted it was 212 but in fact it's 218...i know it doesn't make a difference...but i needed to note the mistake....evidently i can't add!....as i have to convert to US# on my meter....

he only nibbled at pmps time....served 2 kinds of food...neither was a hit....so will see if a third can will do the trick....

seems like the third can did the trick....talk about picky eater!!!! he's had 2 servings of the third can i opened....go figure....i should line up all the cans and see which one he sniffs in order to open that one...this way i don't waste food.....there has got to be a way to train a cat to read a menu!!!! if anyone knows the way...please share!

I think rocket and willie are in cahoots. willie will usually eat anything, but he's gotten very picky lately! thoughts and prayers continued stable, good days for rocket and you both. ((hug))

That's a good idea - a menu for cats! Maggie is back to eating Wellness chicken after turning her nose up at it not that long ago! Sending good thoughts and prayers for you and Rocket.

Claudia, sorry I haven't visited your condo in awhile, but I keep you and Rocket in my prayers always. Love the idea of our kitties reading a menu. :lol: Wouldn't that be great? Tessie Lou will eat anything (except Purina DM), but little bro T.J. drives me bonkers! No schedule, just goes and sits like a statue on the stand by the sink when he's ready to be shown the day's food selections. Mind you, that does NOT mean he will be eating ANY of it. I am lucky if I can get him to eat 4 oz a day. Oooh boy...

Hope it quits snowing soon so Rocket can get back outside. Nice job on the spring cleanup! Happy for Comet, too!

Comet must feel like a weight has been lifted off of him (literally) with the cone gone. Hope he is feeling better now. I'm glad Rocket has eaten a little for you today even though you had to keep guessing which can he prefers. Sending prayers and hugs to everyone.

after he got the pred at +2.5 he decided to go out on the hallway....he tends to think he owns the hallway...he doesn't care people coming or going....he just sits there like nothing...i gotta make sure i keep an eye on him

he then decided to come in and take a nap....then at +4 he got up and went straight to his food....all on his own....then decided he wanted to be on the coffee table...and he napped there all belly up (the old Rocket!)....so at +5 i gave him some chic dust....

now at +5.5 he is 72 :mrgreen:

then he decided to go out on the balcony (it is still snowing here) so smell the fresh air...it is beautiful outside...no wind!!!....then decided it was enough (a total of 5 mins)...and is now just sitting there visiting....actually he is looking at his dad being all mad at the hockey game...he is probably thinking his dad has gone crazy!....

he still looks tired...but i'm enjoying all he has for me....i take anything....

so the report is that he didn't eat well during the day but has eaten better at night time....

thank you all who visited our condo today...praying for all of you and please continue to pray for us...much appreciated....

I have heard more than one person in the cat food aisle muttering "I should send my cats to the store themselves so they can pick out their own food"...
