What a nice day Mannie had yesterday - nice ps numbers, greens mid-cycle, lots of blues in-between. We seem to have a little bit of a bounce this AM, and as always I hope he clears it quickly. Slowly Mannie, no need to dive, OK? cat_pet_icon

We have been lucky to have two days this weekend where the weather was decent, with lots of sunshine. :cool: It was great to be able to let Mannie outside, to spend time in his yard - hours on end. He has two, maybe three, spots that he really likes. I'd see him sitting out there just watching, or rolling in some of the ground cover. Fun to watch, even more fun for the cat. I only had to ring the dinner bell, aka beating the food can with a spoon, only once. :lol: :-D :cool: It is amazing how fast he can run when food is on the line. :lol: :lol: Things are good this morning: my happy furry purry kitty is up to his usual morning antics: dancing for breffis, supervising my getting ready, interior patrolling, and the even most important nanner security and napping. Life is good in MannieLand. :-D :cool:

Kitchen Krew!!! You guys ready? We have much to do! It's Mocha's OTJ party today! I hope the menu is OK. I was so stoked to find sugar free marshmallow (thank you Attie!) so that we can make them rice krispie treat thingies - I LUB those! so yeah... the roadster is all packed and ready to go - so see you guys soon, OK? We are off to Michigan!! ~~ Chef Mannie

Good morning guys ... the post about mannie rolling around in the grass had me smiling .. my girls are only indoor girls, but sometimes I think they would like to feel the grass under their toes ... Mocha can't wait to see everyone at the party, and to check out the delicious menu chef mannie has created!!

I read yesterday that Mannie helped you in the garden for three hours? What an awesome day he had yesterday. Maverick would love that. The last time we had him outside he was in emergency a few days later all stuffed up. So no more five minute trips on the grass.

Hope he comes down nicely for you Michelle. No diving Mannie.

Sounds like a great day yesterday! I love spring! Karrie, I know what you mean about expensive outdoor time. Last summer, Tessie Lou's little brother, T.J., actually got a long blade of grass up his nasal passage so far, it had to be surgically removed! And of course, it happened on a Sunday, so ER. So, no more grass time for little T, either. But they both love the screened porch. :-D :-D

I'm glad your weather was good enough for him to go out. My grounds are still too soggy, with snow here and there, and mud oozing up, where I step, in some places.
Mannie can't wait to get his chef apron on again, for Mocha's party? Boy, that guy really likes to cook. :-D

Hey Mannie, too bad you're on the other side of the country. I hafta find a ride to Mocha's place. I wonder if Rusty wants to pick me up. We're not that far from him. See ya later, Dude@

Hi Michelle, It's not a red AMPS!! And it's coming down gradually!! Hooray!!! Nice that you could get out in your garden. You should see the snow coming down here this morning: blowing horizontally and fast and furious. I don't even want to walk to the post office (but probably will this afternoon).

Glad you guys had such a lovely weekend! Willie got some outside time too, though I really need to buy a house with a fenced in yard so he can roam around more. He doesn't like his confines! LOL

I'm sure he'll clear his bounce soon! Hope you guys have another great day in store!

hi Barb - yep, it is one of my favorite things - to be able to let him go outside. He rubs his face in the stuff, rolls back and forth, and my all time favorite, when it is really sunny and warm: flat on his back all fours in the air, sunning his belly. :lol: I hope you guys get rid on the mud and muck soon - we still have alot of that too, will be so for a while longer here. March and April are usually fairly soggy. :roll:

Hope Mannie clears this quickly, but not TOO quickly (no diving Manster!) I'm jealous of your 2 days of sunshine...we had rain rain and more rain. It's stopped, for now, but still all overcast and ugly.

Hi Michelle and Mannie rolling in the grass, lol! I think you have our sunshine and we have Seattle rain - rained like crazy about midnight and then a couple showers throughout the morning. We get all excited to see rain.

Michelle, T.J. gets stuff up his nose all the time, but usually he just has a sneezing fit and gets it out by himself. That particular time, DH took him, on his leash, into the higher prairie grass. He started sneezing, then stopped, and wouldn't move. He was having trouble breathing, and I just grabbed him, threw him in the car and drove like a maniac to the ER. They did an x-ray, then came out and told me it was a blade of grass that got sucked into his larynix (spelling?) through his sinus cavity and was caught there and would have to be flushed out. So, they put him to sleep and did it. Afterwards, he was really weak, but just fine. He has kind of a funny shaped nose, and I think that's part of the problem. He also has allergies, poor little guy, and then there's the poison lily thing we're still dealing with. :roll: But, he just cracks us up with his antics and we love him dearly.

Mannie, I'm all dressed up for the party. It's going to be so fun cause Mocha has so many friends, and oh, the fuds! Do you think Moonie will let me join in the singing? My momabean says I have quite a musical lilt to my meows. I like to serenade her from downstairs, to help her wake up in the mornings! I think I sang opera in a past life. :-D ..Tessie Lou
