I'm hoping our new dose of 6u starts making a difference soon, but this is the point where we should think about testing for IAA and acromegaly, right? 
My vet also mentioned the possibility of Cushing's, although she doesn't have thin skin or a poor coat, which google says are major characteristics. I also don't see any outward signs of acromegaly, but I assume she should still get tested for it since there may be internal things going on I can't see?
