Just touching the blues...

When I spoke to the vet yesterday, I forgot to mention that I wanted Trix's new script to be for the Solostar pens ohmygod_smile . Just curious what you guys think...I'm debating filling the vial script locally, just so I can get the new stuff going ASAP, and having the vet write a second script so I can get the pens and have them ready to go for the next round.

Given Trixie's recent numbers, does that sound like an OK plan? Or do you think she'd be OK hanging out here while we wait 10+ days for the pens to come in (my vet isn't back in the office until Tuesday.). I keep teetering back and forth...I decide she needs the new insulin right away, then she has a super-active day with greens, which then makes me think we'd be OK waiting for the new script to arrive. Then she bounces back up, and I'm back to thinking we need the new insulin ASAP....vicious circle going here!

Thanks for any thoughts!

Definitely going to pick up the new vial locally tomorrow, and get the vet to write a second script for the pens. Hopefully the new vial will have us seeing better/more consistent numbers like she was having when she first started on the .75u....

What I always say, is when in doubt, toss it out....actually I got that from the board here :lol:

I am looking forward to what will hopefully be a fresh start tomorrow evening, when I have that fresh new vial in my hands...
