Good Morning, Everyone. Happy 1st day of spring!
Rusty is not exactly vernal on the Vernal Equinox! And he was pink last night at the bedtime test. Yesterday's A.M. cycle had a nice downward progression, but then petered out. I'm sure I didn't do a fur shot. So, since yesterday was Day 47 on the cartridge of Lev., I decided to start a new one this morning. New juice for springtime! I sure hope I can get him back to his good numbers. We have had 2 dose fattenings since March 14th, with not much success. Granted that he lost regulation after his combination of vetty stress and trip stress, but this stretch of higher numbers has lasted way too long. He doesn't act sick, has good appetite for the most part, good elimination, better breathing and more energy since starting the Allerplex (although he has slowed down since last spring, maybe because he is getting older; we don't know how old he is). So we'll see what happens today. We may well be dealing with a little NDW, too (this is the start of cycle 4 of the doscrease).
Rusty walked upstairs last night (no galloping), had a good night sleeping between his beans, ate all his nighttime food, was eager for his test and breakfast, and especially for his "lung treat" (Allerplex). We had a schmooze. He ate some more of his breakfast, and took a nap in his little bed by the radiator. 18 degrees outside this morning with light snow. We got about 10 inches in the big snowstorm, but in Vermont they got much more.
Wishing everyone Happy Springtime.
