I'm starting today's condo a bit early, not AMPS yet but I just realized it's EGG DAY!!! "What's egg day?" you ask...let me issue an invitation to join the EGG party today! Go find an egg with a smooth large end, find a level surface and SIT it on it's END! There's differing opinions on this but I've been doing this every year since I was a child - this is easier accomplished today than any other day of the year. This is due to the solstice and the spin of the earth's gravity pulling straight down rather than to either side. Even young children can do it with a bit of patience. My children took eggs to school every March 20th even in high school. They left a legacy everywhere they went - they were the 'egg boys' but many of their teachers still bring eggs to class on March 20th. Just as proof, here's my egg from 2009. It's not hard boiled, nothing more than a regular smooth egg!

We've had about 4 inches of rain so far with another 2-3 inches due before it ends later today. We iz gonna SWIM wif our eggs... I'll watch for Melissa and Tarragon to go floating by....wait, might outta watch for the Dallas/Ft Worth people too...

HUGS to all and thoughts and prayers for those needing them today. We especially think of Venita/DH with a hole in their heart today. MY hole already has a 'big black dog wif no tail' dancing in it.

I iz jus' so darn proud of this! It's been way too long since we've seen these numbers.

I should have shared this picture while we were struggling with Samson the last few days - I only have 2 of him in my photobucket but lots on that worm ridden computer over there in the corner.... :roll: The one on the right was Samson, our "Big Black Dog Wif No Tail". He was a natural bobtail - his whole butt wagged. I love you sweet baby - thank you for landing right in my heart. Your buddy beside you here, Big Red Dog, will join you when his jobs are done too....

Sampson looks like a happy dog in that picture (((more Hugs))).

I went and tried the egg standing on it's end thing, and my eggs are defective :lol:

I love KT's blues yesterday! A yellow bounce is decent too. I'm going to have to remember the eggs trick for when I get home. I hope my eggs aren't defective. :lol:

Happy Egg Day! I have never heard of it but we are definitely trying it tonight!

Nice sunny yellow for KT on this dreary, rainy, floody day! I will definitely wave as we float passed! :lol: A lot of flooding in our area with a lot of roads and highways closed and potholes forming. Ugh.

After perching on his throne up in the high 200's all day, he's now decided to DIVE!

I'm stalling for a bit (not past 30 minutes) to see where it's going. I did give him 1 tbsp hc to slow that almost 50 point drop in 15 minutes!

i'd shoot, lyresa! that's within the 20% variance (20% of 220 = 44 pts) and while it might be a downward drift, it's no where near dangerous. you go girl.

and now i must go try the egg day trick. never thought i'd say this, but i hope my eggs aren't defective either. :lol:
