Yesterday's Condo

Happy first day of spring! One of the things Chicago does is plant tulips all along Michigan Avenue. It's still too early for them to bloom but I'm waiting. Eagerly!

Gabby is feeling better this morning. She was waiting for me to dish up her breakfast. When Gizmo decided that he wanted the dregs of her bowl (having left a fair portion in his bowl), Gabby accommodated him and then polished off his food. Given that her numbers were heading up last night, I'm pleasantly surprised that she brought them back down this morning. Although, I'm pretty certain the rise in her numbers may have been due to the baby food. I can only seem to find Gerber Stage 2 here and it contains cornstarch. I've yet to find Beechnut.

I love tulips - we have the tulip fesitval here and its pretty cool to see them al.

Glad Gabby's tummy settled down. Cornstarch is high carb? Who knew?! Guess it's probably made from corn, duh. Tessie is boycotting her Merrick's Grandma's Pot Pie today. She has loved it up until now. Go figure.

Sienne, I've been able to find beechnut at Walmart and at Save-A-Lot. Hope that helps!
