It's sunday!!
and i'm barely awake!!

The little green train keeps chugging along, however...
he tested 123 at his +7 last night...and i can tell you that the full moon here in the NW was lovely at that time :-D
I know this because I have neighbors who apparently have an endless supply of fireworks,
and feel that a weekend night fueled with alcohol is never complete without endangering yourself and waking the
neighbors to let them know you are enjoying your party :roll:

3 of 5 p's so far...playing and magical poops yet to appear.

sidenote: someone speculated in their condo a few days back that Lantus might sting somewhat and cause their cat to flinch.
yesterday morning when measuring his shot, some insulin dribbled down onto a cut on my hand, and it did sting.
What use that information is...i have NO IDEA...but it gave me something to say :lol:

That's one reason a lot of high dose cats get Lev. It stings less (? or not at all?)

Insulin that is shot from the vial(fresh out of the fridge) will sting because it's cold, so I always hold the needle in my warm hand for a couple of minutes, to warm it a bit!
I always get insulin on me but it never stung, but I could be wrong ;-) ;-) ;-)

Binks just keeps coming up with such nice green numbers. Simon has flinched a little at times with the injection, but most of the time he is so focused on eating his food, that he wouldn't feel anything, even if something bit him on the head! Go, Binkster!!

Rusty meows loudly at the "thought" of the shot, before the needle is anywhere near him. But of course I spend a lot of time "looking" for skin through all that fur. Sometimes he meows during the shot (Lev.), sometimes not. But I think it is a Pavlovian reaction.

Another party tomorrow, guys!

i'll tell ya, i'm feeling sorta cranky this morning - staying up late to check BG, getting up early to do it again and give the shot, then napping - ugh. BUT, ya made me laugh. lots. love the pics! thanks!

and it was me speculating on the stinging lantus shots - i'll try warming it up more - i had been doing that but nothing seemed to make a difference so the past few shots were basically straight from the fridge. i'll keep working on it.

Does Binkster walk on a leash? That pic is so funny, and the other one could pass for Maggie's behind! Maggie has flinched a few times when I give the shot.

it's that cat on the leash that keeps cracking me up. i have occasionally tried to get one of my cats (in the past) to walk on a leash and had that very same experience. their bones dissolve and they melt to the ground. NOT GOIN ANYWHERE!

the funny thing is he has 3 harnesses...
a leather one, a padded one, and the one he wears on the companion visits...his "work" harness.

the first two he hates...but bring out the work harness and he's ready to rock.
the boy LOVES his "job" :lol:

guess it's a matter of association...this one means "vetty"...this one means long days in a moving truck...
i refuse to have him associate anything he dislikes with his "Sunday Goin' A-Visitin'" attire...

Lookin' fly, Binks!! Love the pics today... both here and in Willie's condo!!! Tried putting Willie on a harness once when he was a kitten. It went about as well as the picture. :lol:
