Yesterday's Condo

Last night's cycle was a solid upward climb, so we started the new Lantus pen this morning. That +3 is a little too stinkus pinkus for my taste, but hopefully he'll come down today. Given that he's immune compromised, I worry that he somehow picked up an infection over the weekend (his WBC count was on the high end of normal as of Friday).

Overall, he's doing just fine. Plenty of btb cuddles this morning, and when I left he was sunning in the bedroom window, having eaten 1st and 2nd breffis. Looks like he may have gotten up to play for a bit last night... toys seem to have been moved. This morning I piled them up together on the dining room floor so I can see tonight if he's played in my absence. While his weight is in a good spot, he is still a little bony on top and needs to build some muscle mass, so play time is very good for him. He had actually lost a few ounces between his last two appointments, but his boniness had decreased. Last night was cute... he was definitely wanting attention and lubbins from his bean. Happy to oblige!!

I hope all is well with Willie, that he hasn't picked up an infection. paws crossed on that one! It is good to read though that he feels fine. I love it when they are sunning themselves in the window.

I do that with some of the toys too - so I can tell what has been played with. well, with everything BUT the nanners. I wouldn't dare touch the stash.... except for vacuum days. :lol: :lol:

Sorry we haven't made it to many condos today... busy day at tbp and an evening of ranting on the phone about my brother's upcoming wedding (in which my sister and I are bridesmaids). Will try to stop by a few tonight, but know you're all in my thoughts!

Okay, is it wrong that before getting our +3 poke, I gave Willie big head kisses, then exclaimed "Big money, big money.... no whammies!!!"?? We're moving downward, so i'll take it. :-D

Off to tackle dishes then watch Top Chef!

PS-- My sister just got offered an interview with the IRS today... it's likely only a seasonal position, but could be a big game changer for her. The interview is next Wednesday, but being, well, DS... she can use all the good luck juju she can get in advance!! :-D
