Good Morning LL! Thank you Elsa! We are having a bounce from the pretty greens on Friday, but appy is better so far today. Thank you cypro! It's still raining! another quarter inch over night.

WE just started our last pen and have been pricing Levemir. Has anyone used this discount? https://www.myflexpen.com/saveonflexpen/saveup.aspx If you are signed up as a caregiver all they ask is gender. And is the "pay no more than $25 a fill" per pen or for the Rx of 5 pens? If you've tried have there ben any hang ups?

Hi Ann,
That Levemir program looks like a good deal. I read it as applying to a single pen ( which they consider a 30 days supply, since it says later in the instructions that you are entitled to a maximum of 24 refills over the 2-year period.)

Let me know how you make out. I think you would call it Type 1 diabetes and sign in as the caretaker. There is no space for the patient's name or gender.

How's the rain doing where you live? No mudslides, I hope!

I fugured it was per pen too. Even w/ that it comes out to less than half the regular cost. I was mainly wondering what the pharmacy would say.

No mudslides here we are on the coastal plain, ancient sand dunes actually. LA has had some problems though, 2.25" here so far from this storm and .75" earlier in the week.

We used the Lantus discount for Zener and the pharmacy was fine. They knew it was for a cat. I think they were happy it was a cat because the price is so outrageous and the company is making so much money. I hope we get some more rain, 1.8" so far. Emma is a toughie! :lol: :lol: I'm glad the cypro is helping Tess.

no clue on the levemir program, but it sure does sound like a good one. Sure hope that works out. It could make a huge difference with the costs etc. YAY on that!
