Yesterday

Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty spent last night sleeping and only ate about a third of his nighttime food. Looks like a bounce has begun, too. But we had a good schmooze, breakfast has been started on, and we are looking forward to a good day. We had about 2 inches of new, fluffy snow overnight, warm (+18) temperatures this morning, and some light snow interspersed with sunshine.

Today is finance day for me: balancing the bank account and then-- ta ta-- getting stuff ready for our tax man (we have our appointment next week in NYC). Not looking forward to beginning on this, but I guess I will!

OOOOOOOOO! What fun for you! Finance day. That was my day yesterday. I hope it all goes well. Taxes.... never fun, but what a relief it will be when it is all done!

I got the financial paperwork for last month done, but can't face doing the taxes today!! Tomorrow morning for sure!

While I'm deathly sick of winter and not looking forward to our upcoming snowfall, your snowfall with temperatures above zero and sunshine actually sounds kind of pleasant, Ella.

Hi again,
The LagoonMeister is right at the edge of the lagoon, watching the kitties and keeping them safe.

Our snowstorm really picked up this afternoon and we got about 8 inches of new snow, blown about by very strong winds. Now (almost midnight) the sky is brilliant with stars and the almost-full moon. Temperature is zero. A great winter night!
