Good Evening, L&LL,

Rusty had a good day. His congestion and breathing are much better (close to normal). His appetite is good. I think he is healing himself, since we failed Antibiotics 101 :p. We didn't even attempt to give him the Orbax today. I called the vet and told her that it was impossible for us to dose him, that he was almost "normal" today, and that we didn't want to have to deal with antibiotics during our trip to NYC this weekend. She's OK with that. We leave for the city on Sunday, so Rusty has a couple of days to completely get back to his normal (chronic congestion, but without the excessive sneezing and overproduction of snot).

Weather has turned much colder. We started out this morning above freezing and the thermometer is supposed to hit zero F. or below tonight. No snow, however. Bummer! This afternoon the Outings Committee of our mountain club met to plan the next quarter: lots of paddles, hikes, and bike rides. Spring is just around the corner! The rivers are in flood stage already. But I sure hope to go skiing again before spring arrives.

Thanks for all the vines for Rusty.

Keeping on sending easy breathing vines for Rusty. :bighug: Bummer on failing AB 101. :p First few times I did it, I think the cupboards got more AB than the cat!

Sounds cold there. Wish I could send you some of our precipitation. Marsh winds have started here, ruined rowing too.

I always had much better luck with ABs in pill form. With liquids we ended up with as much on the cat as in the cat (and on me and the walls and the floor....). I'm glad Rusty decided to show you he don't need no stinkin' antibiotics!
