I may have given him a fur shot this morning. Grrrr. He was moving around and very excited this morning. I'm getting better at drawing up the one drop though, so that's good. What happens next - will he eventually need to go down to 50 on the one drop dose and that's when I do an OTJ trial? His number creeped up this morning, but that's to be expected I guess.

WCR- seems happy, being a bit fussy this AM, but I'm sure he'll eat everything by the time I'm home tonight. I'm totally out of strips so I've gotta stop into WalMart. Thank GOD I use the ReliOn because I don't think I could afford this if I used an expensive meter/strips.

I may have given him a fur shot this morning because he was squirming around so much. Still working on the dose. Thee syringe I used tonight was different; it didn't go all the way to the top. Try to get an accurate dose with that!!!

WCR: Happy, doing a lot of talking/whining. Eating well, better than this AM.

I'm not sure about your OTJ trial question, so I'll leave that to more experienced eyes. Keep up the good work! :)
 
So I went to WalMart tonight to get strips and lancets. The WalMart I go to is pretty seedy - lots of weirdos and thugs there. I go in there dressed up from work and as I walked in the door the alarm went off and the "door guard" thought it was the person walking out at the same time as I walked in. I made a mental note that I must have not removed one of the sewed in tags that Ann Taylor Loft puts in thier clothes and it set off the alarm. Then I get my stuff and made sure they deactivated the security tag on the strips. I saw her do it. I pay and head toward the door and of course, the alarm goes off and the door guard (toothless with a long beard) :o and a security dude come over to me and I show them my reciept and they check everything. I go through again and it still goes off. I explain to them I think it's my skirt and that there's this tag-thing still sewn in. Meanwhile all the thugs in the store are looking at me like I'm a thief! So I'm trying to find the tag in my skirt without exposing too much all while I'm thinking "I've got 15 minutes to get home or I'll be late for his shot" Finally they let me go despite the fact that the alarm kept going off everytime they made me walk through. I think it was because I was totally confident and not freaking out. :lol:
 
Given the high cost of strips and the fact that they are medical necessity, I imagine a seedy Walmart sees their fair share of theft on them, but since you had your receipt, I don't know why they made such a big deal out of it. I guess you could have bought some and hidden some more in your clothes. In any case, the mental image of the gross security guard looking at your skirt tag is too priceless, so thanks for the laugh. ;)
 
Ewwwwwww, that is so creepinella! I think I will suggest to my sister that she name her new baby girl Creepinella, rolls right off the tongue.

So....looks like it was a furshot, huh? But still not bad numbahs considering.

Hahahaha, a fugitive from Walmart law! I love it. Also, Creepinella is now at the TOP of my baby name list. Perhaps Creepagon if it's a boy?
