Increased Bella’s dose to 1.75 u Lantus this am.
Her lower numbers this morning she was like the “old days” had to be coaxed into eating.
AMPS was 201 dropped as low as 144 @ +3... then bounced up to 394 @ +9
PMPS: 419
Yikes

She’s keeping me on my toes.

Is she eating better now that her numbers are higher?

That 144 is the lowest number she's seen in awhile, looks like she bounced quickly! Perfectly normal, and hopefully she will settle down and get used to lower numbers soon. Looks like 1.75 is getting somewhere. May take a cycle or two or three to stop bouncing, just keep your eyes peeled when numbers start to come down.

She’s eats better and seems to feel/ look better when her numbers are higher.
I can actually look at her and “know” what her number is without testing ( reminds me of when my daughter was little and was ill: I could put my hand on her head and get an accurate temp without a thermometer)

She hasn’t been all that interested in eating today. 3/3 I plied her with routisserie chicken pieces.. she wouldn’t touch the plain baked chicken that I made for her. ( of course) regular cat food not so interested.
Is this normal for lower numbers in some cats?
She did this at the beginning of treatment but then was ok... eating with lower numbers. I guess these lower numbers are more prolonged.
Her ketones have been negative
I’m frustrated, concerned and tired.
