Funny story this morning. Tessa was in her test spot and I was getting ready to poke her ear when she jumped down and took off running down the hallway. I was so confused because she hasn't done that in a long time and I hadn't even touched her ears yet.
My husband finds her standing right in front of the timed feeder and then realizes that she took off because she thought she heard the timed feeder open. He had picked something off of his desk (which is in the room next to the one where Tessa eats) and it sounded a lot like the lid of the timed feeder opening lol.
He brought her back to me so I could test her and she was fine. She was a bit more demanding with her meows while my husband put food in her bowl though haha.
