Good Morning, Everyone,

Getting a late start this morning because I've been on the phone with an acquaintance who thinks her cat has diabetes. I told her to go to the vet to get a diagnosis and gave her a link to the main information page of Feline Diabetes.com. After she gets a diagnosis, I am going to help her get started, if indeed it is diabetes. (Her cat has all of the earmarks: drinking and peeing excessively; weight loss; neuropathy--walking on the hocks.)

Rusty has bounced from his green numbers of yesterday (bounce already had begun last night). I hope it won't be long-lived and that we can really get back on track with his numbers. This morning we had a good test, shot, breakfast (By Nature Turkey and Turkey Liver, 2 sittings) and we went outdoors briefly. Edward is going to take him out again now.

Our summer-like weather is still with us and expected to last at least through mid week. We actually have a paddle scheduled for Wednesday--the earliest our group has ever paddled. It will be the first day of spring!!! Some friends are camping out Monday night to celebrate the Equinox, but I don't think Rusty would enjoy sleeping in our tent!

All but blue! Bounce on down Rusty, I 'm missing my daily green fix. I hope all goes well for your friend's kitty, Ella. Enjoy the summer like weather and the early paddle. Crazy weather!

Morning Ella - Rusty - green dude, green... though I think you are on your way. that amps is more blue than anything else.

I wish your friend luck with her kitty. It sure does sound like FD. It is very nice that you will be able to help her.

wow!! a potential paddle - how wonderful! I do so hope your weather holds so you can go.

Rusty!! Did I read tent camping?? that might be kinda cool... and then we could paddle with your beans. hmmmm... I detect a plan brewing.... ~~ Mannie

Hi again, everyone,

We had a flat high-blue day today. We'll see what it portends. I guess some of it is a bounce from the greens yesterday. It was so warm today, it was really uncomfortable walking around the village. 2 more warm days, and then cooler. We'll be able to canoe in unprecedented (for this time of year) warm weather on Wednesday.

We spent the day doing odds and ends, running around. Rusty had some good "play" time with Shadow this morning (Edward supervising) and then spent the whole rest of the day sleeping. It's too hot for his fur coat!

Flatter'n a pancake! Maybe some action tonight or tomorrow? Hope everything goes smoothly for you guys.

I hope Rusty comes back down to green. That is such a better color on him! I know what you mean about this weather. It is not natural to be 80 degrees in March in Michigan. I almost have to put the a/c on but I always avoid that until the last minute. I miss the 50 degree spring weather. I don't like going from cold to hot - and this winter was not even that cold here. I didn't wear boots or gloves once.

Evening E & R!! Glad to hear you are going for a paddle--maybe those beautiful wild flowers up there are blooming early?
Moonie & Rusty seem to have similar numbers today, Hope they both come down tomorrow!

I'm starting to think that Rusty has something against Vyktor and just doesn't want to hang out with him.

C'mon Rusty I'm sure you'll like him if you spend some time with him, how about getting back to the lagoon to find out?
