Yesterday was pink and yellow bounce recovery from the night before. Today is the usual start of third cycle after bounce, go high before you go low, bounce clearing dive bomb. ohmygod_smile

Neko gave me a good laugh last night. Neko was in the living room, snoozing on her favorite chair when her BFF Otto (autofeeder) went off. I swear she levitated off the chair and rocketed through the house to the kitchen, with Theo in pursuit. This is unusual, because once Otto is in place, Neko seldom leaves his side. She might go away for 10-15 minutes, but she doesn't really have a concept of an hour between feedings, so doesn't like to leave his side for long. Normally she is lying down near him or at least on a chair within 10 feet. After easily beating Theo to the race, Neko didn't leave Otto's side until he was lifted from place, duty done for the night. Needless to say, she easily maintains her CPC status.

This morning was also unusual for Neko. Normally she just goes outside for 10 minutes at most after breakfast. This morning she was out for over half an hour. I looked outside for her, and there she was on top of the fence. :o And she came back in with 15 minutes to spare before Otto delivered her +1.

And we have :mrgreen: :mrgreen: . It's been AGES since I've seen green during the day, she's been saving it all for the night time. Neko came in from the solarium just before the test, so I suspected she was going lower.

I just got back from the physio a while ago. He gave me isometric exercises and prescribed patience. It'll be at least a month before I'm back on the water. :cry: He told me I could do any activity that used my lower body and left arm. :roll:

Nice greens for Neko. I hope she keeps surfing for you. That's so funny with Neko and her autofeeder. :lol:

WOW there Neko! Well, not surprising for her Royal Highness, but boy the bouncing keeps you on your toes, doesn't it? @-)

I love Otto (autofeeder)!!!!! I can see her zipping straight up and then ZING straight to him like a cartoon! What a great image! That's a good one - thanks for sharing! :-D :-D :-D

Hmm, there's the stationary bike, one-armed! Croquet, one-armed (my staple when I broke my elbow at age ca. 11), various steppers like they have at gyms, practicing the piano with the left hand, and, of course, walking while swinging the left arm but not the right. All of these can be done wearing patience pants!!

Woot!! So nice to see Neko hung onto those nice normal numbers for a while. I have no idea what she plans tonight.

@Carla - She hung onto those high greens for a while, so nice to see. Neko is VERY food focused so I get a few laughs from that. ;-)

@Lisa - Yup, Rainbow Queen at it again. :YMSIGH: I have no idea what's next with Miss Unpredictable, who is currently parked beside Otto. She's not repeating last nights mistake! :lol:

@Ella - Tell Rusty to get down here now! I asked about the bike, but he said the recumbent bike only (the others lean on hands), the elliptical is also OK. Hiking/walking I've done, it is awkward when you can only partially swing one arm. But yes, lots of practice wearing patience pants. They've be bare threads soon!

@Rhiannon - I was delighted to see daytime greens, it had been almost a month (if you don't count AMPS).

@Michelle - I do believe our PNW kitties are getting over their St. Catrick's Day green bounces. :cool:

I imagine Neko is quite the funny and adventurous girl. I hope Theo can keep up with her.

So, it's gonna be one of THOSE nights. She just had her +3 mini meal. Now would be a really inconvenient time for her pancreas to kick in. :roll:

@Marje - Neko is still dipping. :mrgreen: Theo is younger (by 3 years) and more active. He likes to stick a lot closer to her than she wants him to. He keeps trying to start a whack fight, but she is a bigger cat (although a bit lighter) and can box him back. :lol:

@Courtney - Neko's not really great at surfing greens yet. If she gets them early, she's dive bombing. :lol:

Neko is double dipping! Will you give her a reduction or a partial reduction?
It will be interesting to see what Neko does with it!

Hmm. Let's see what she can do without gravy. But I did break out the big gun treats - freeze dried chicken hearts. Yumm!

@Rich - I think I'll try a partial reduction or shave first. She wasn't doing well on 1.75. I'm up at least another hour. @-)

@Anne - Definitely time for ~O) Thanks to Greener Zener for joining for a while.

@Dale - West coast is definitely a state of mind. :lol: Neko went from 3.1mm on the calipers and only 1 cycle of green in 7 to 3.2mm and that's too much. :roll: Chip must have a favorite part of the lagoon, he's such a frequent visitor. For Neko each visit is still a special occasion.

Interesting Neko and Chip swapped places in recent months. @-)

The surfing green all day is really a Levemir thing, if Chip doesn't surf tight, he get's mired in a sea of pink. nailbite_smile

@Dale - Neko is an acrocat, and got up to 8.75 units so she know how to be a big sipper. She's also not very good at flat. Except the 50s in the middle of the night. ;-)
 
I remember that perhaps (nearly) as well as you, been following since before forever.

Because for a while I was concerned I needed to test Chip for high dose.

It appears Chip's issue was ordinary *temporary* resistance.

He still needs somewhat aggressive dosing to ward off the sea of pink, but at least he's *relatively* predictable.

And he's following nearly the same tight surf this cycle: Chip PMPS +4 49. :thumbup
