sooooooo, here we are for an update. and to prove the wonkiness caused by the moon
today
amps 109
+3 32 fed of course
+3.25 42 another bite of food
+4 69 told her before this test that if she was higher i'd leave her alone.
pmps 107
was really expecting some serious bounce but noooooooooooooooooooo, sooooooooooo, given the lack of bounce and the moon hanging overhead tonight, i decided to skinny up her 1 unit a little and will test her before bed to make sure we're good
as far as everyone else in the house, let's see, not sure where I left off with them.
LePew (senior blind kitty) went for a checkup a few weeks ago and the morning of his appt his belly gave us a scare. it was rock hard and tight like he'd swallowed a watermelon. x-ray revealed a huge mass, possibly enlarged kidney. thought we'd be losing him soon thereafter but went further with testing and discovered he had a cyst on or around his kidney. drained it. 5 days later i could see it again poking out his side so we drained it again and was on wait and see to see if we were going to have to consider more testing and/or surgery to remove the cyst and/or his kidney. vet was hoping we could get 3 weeks between drains, for his benefit and my wallet's benefit, and guess what? it's been at least that and so far, it hasn't refilled **anti-jinx**
little Fuji, treedweller, sprayed twice one weekend so we had to prepare ourselves for an attempt at neutering him. (no one thought he'd live long enough to have to worry about this). had to wait a week so vet could get together with cardiologist, have a full staff on hand, i consulted with jojo during this time, and a plan was derived that all thought was as safe as we could get and sure enough, it worked. thank god. he went thru neuter surgery beautifully and there were no blips there. oddly he never sprayed during that week wait and i considered cancelling our appt but didn't.
everyone else is healthy and happy still so that is the latest from cindyville
keep an eye on your kitties tonight k. remember to tell them you love them, even if they try your patience.
