3/19 Max AMPS 369 +2 404 PMPS 241 +4 181 +5 115

Max decided to go up high today. Flat yellows last night maybe… I don’t know what he is planning but I really hope it’s not tonight or tomorrow. Big plans with the whole family tomorrow for most of the day. I will be home but will be busy with my kids, and 6 grandkids all age 3 and under. Cleaned house today and I need my energy for tomorrow. I have all of next week to spend with Max, not that he cares… he will do what he’s gonna do. Crazy thing about it is, it used to get me all in a tizzy when I had big plans and thinking about Max’s shenanigans, now I just go with it and everyone else thinks I’ve lost my mind over my cat. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do….

It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful time!

I see he’s gone yellow now. Don’t dive Max!

People who don’t have a beloved diabetic cat can never be expected to understand what it takes to care for them! I’m sure I never knew how involved it was before Darcy was diagnosed.

Thanks Suzanne I hope so! Everyone else has to meet the new baby who was born in November. With so many of us getting sick we haven’t all gotten together as a family in a long time. Looking forward to it. I’ve told Max to behave lol. He doesn’t like the kids at all. I have to put him away in another room.

You are exactly right. I love Max more than any other cat I’ve owned. He’s been with me through some hard times in my life and he brings me so much comfort and love. I owe it to him to give him the best life he can live. Nobody understands all of the sacrifices I’ve made for him. I try to live my life as close to normal as I can but I always take him into consideration because I want to keep him safe. I wish he didn’t have acromegaly/diabetes but he does so I have just adapted to all of his care every day and wouldn’t have it any other way. Whether people understand or not, it doesn’t change how I feel.
