Yesterday was..... alpha day in MannieLand.... all day long. @-) :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH: ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad: And then the PM cycle hit - the Zener Slide was in full effect! How nice to wake up to yellow this morning. Mannie had such a good day on Sunday - a nice slide all the way to the bottom of the lagoon. With the low greens, the dive he used to get there, and the gravy and the karo I used to keep him afloat all equated to a rather nasty bounce. I knew he would, but had really hoped it wouldn't be as bad as it was. I feel for him, as that can't possibly feel good to him. I hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Despite the high BG's, Mannie continues to be Mannie, do they things he always does. We actually had a good day here weather wise yesterday, so I took him outside to soak up the sun and check on NannerVille, that small suburb within MannieLand that houses all the ground cover. It was good to see him check everything out, secure the perimeter, secure all entrances and exits. We did not have an adventure though: Mannie stayed in his yard. He spent some time too taking a short nap in the sun that covered a section of the grass. That was cute: curled up with his face pointing towards the sun. A boys gotta work on his tan! He got around fairly well yesterday, muscle weakness was so so. It's good to see that he doesn't let it bother him. :cool: All in all it was a good day for Mannie yesterday. Today appy has been good (picky !!!, but good), CPC (barely) yesterday and this morning, LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: I am happy to say one more time: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! Not too much planned here, short of some "left-over " cleaning I didn't finish yesterday. Then Seattle in the afternoon to have ~O) with friends. YaHOOO! WOOT! A trip to the big city!! :-D :cool:

Hey everybody! What's up? Are you guys up for an adventure??? I got the bestest one ever! We is off to Alaska to see the aurora borealis. It is mega primo now, and we gots to see for ourselves. Maybe we can use Maui's jet to gets there and then camp out and watch. What'd'ya think??? We could build a camp fire and fish and stuff and grill maybe, maybe even make s'mores. You guys in? Let me know. I am ready for anything!!~ Mannie

Oh what a great start today Mannie! Way to go big guy. No more of those HIs k? Nice that he got outside and spent some time soaking up the sun. I'm glad that bounce didn't affect his Mannieness. :lol: Have a great visit in the city!

I've never been to Alaska. Do they have bears there? My bean said I need to be sure to wear my bell. Camp fire and fishing sounds like a lot of fun. Pick me up, k? - Tarragon

Hi, Michelle, I felt so bad for you guys yesterday. I'm glad today is looking better. It's good that Mannie didn't seem bothered by his day-trip to alphaville. He's still his Mannie self, which is wonderful!. Enjoy your day today! Hopefully the sun will visit Mannie again :cool: .

How lovely to see a not-to-high yellow after your shocker of a day yesterday! From the look of your spreadsheet, you've had practice with that but it can't get any easier. I hope he does a nice, worry free, flat curve for you today.

Hi Grace ~O) ~O) ~O) I so agree with that. yesterday was hard to watch unfold, I like today much better. ;-) oh yes on having alot of practice with numbers like those... One learn to accept it, learn from it, and try as best we can to avoid it in the future. Mannie is dealing with multiple health issues, so that makes it tough. But what a trooper! he just keeps on doing his thing. :-D Thanks on today - flat and even would be perfect: a chance for him to recover from yesterday. :-D

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O) and Mannie, is it ever so nice to see the sunny yellow. Glad he broke the bounce in a nice slide, too. Good to hear Mannie doing a yard adventure and napping in the grass. That has to feel so good. Mags has a picky appy, too. One of these days we will come across a fuds they really love, hopefully. Have a great time in Seattle with your friend, always fun to get together.

I heard you are grounded! How are you going to get away? Are you going to sneak out of the house and hope the bean doesn't catch you? Or are you going to get a DGMM and make it pretends to be you? You know what a DGMM is right - a doppleganger mini Mannie! Cheryl & Winnie tried to pass off a DMGW to my bean as the basket raffle, but my bean was too smart and wouldn't take a fake. It was an original Wheezer or nothing.....

The jet is all fueled and ready for fun. I heard that the aura borelis, auraro beaurilis, err auro beorelois, well you know what I mean, in addition to colors it has a really neat vibration. I am excited to feel the vibes! And your job is to describe the colors to me and everything you see.

Oh and I don't need to wear a bear bell. No bear would dare come near Maui the Alarm Cat! :-x :lol:

Sooo, today's word of the day is stealthy - as in you must be very quiet and stealthy in order to sneak out of your house and avoid your bean!

I was elated to see it. looks like he had a good slide down last night, surfed the yellows for a bit. now we wait to see what he has planned for today. :-D I thought so too on his outdoor time. It was great to see him enjoy that sunshine. Just like days of old. I hope too on the fuds. Sometimes I think we are there - finding that fuds that he just loves, and then BAM the next day he wouldn't touch it. Cats!, enough to drive you crazy. :roll: THX on Seattle. Hi Michelle, today is looking good, sunny, and yellow! I'm glad Mannie ditched the floor which shall not be named, and has cleared that super bounce. Sending blue, be better vines to your little guy, and wishing and hoping that his poor little body will find a way to regulate and balance all the meds. It's been a rough few weeks for you guys, and I do hope you start to see some more consistency. Have a lovely day.

Well, that yellow and beautiful blue are SO MUCH NICER ON THE EYES than that terrible day yesterday. That was so hard to see :sad: :sad: :sad: Poor little guy - it's good that is Mannieness was intact! (Pssst! I think you should tell Mannie that EVERY day is St Catrick's Day and to go find whatever he was wearing on Sunday!)

Today is so much prettier than yesterday. Love the blue mid day touch to this cycle. Here's hoping he does his end of cycle drop to PMPS and gets to solid yellow again.

I hope you enjoyed the big city today. It's just dry and gray here, but better than what tomorrow is supposed to be like. :?

Hi Wendy - oh yes, much much better! I too hope for a drop at pmps. A high yellow would be nice, no need for any diving today. :-D I did enjoy the big city - a bit windy, but still nice: there was no rain! We now have the gray too, a few sprinkles. I guess we are due for a good rainy storm tomorrow. oh goodie. :roll:

Mannie, this is such a lovely day for you (anti-jinx, knocks on wood, rubs Shasta's feet...they're not rabbit, but she's the closest thing I've got) Hope you keep in the yellows and blues tonight (green wouldn't be bad, but I don't want you to get ahead of yourself...no more bouncy!) Sleep well.

Nice slide for Mannie! I agree with you Michelle, these steady cycles today are such a relief to see! Flat yellows and a couple of blues are better than his red-swan-dives-to-green-rocket-back-to-blacks. I tried to tell you Mannie, black is whack! Mellow yellow, Cool Azul, and Serene Green are where it's at ;-)

I just took a look at your SS, and see that you started a new pen on the 16th, and he has been having wonky numbers ever since. I wonder if maybe the potency is different? Or there is something up with the pen? Just an idea... I know he has a lot of other medical stuff going on now, too. Today's cycles look a lot like the day he had on the 15th. I hope he greets you tomorrow morning with more sunshine, a yellow would be nice! Are you listening, Mannie? Mellow Yellow, my boy :-D

Morning Courtney ~O) It was a good slide. Love those! I so agree today - I will take those steady even yellow/blue one any day over what he has had the other days... It is good for him, then maybe the better numbers. I dunno on the pen.... cold be? The other one I'd eased 33 (?) days. maybe it was toasty. AND - WE GOT YELLOW this morning - guess he did listen to you, was up late reading his condo! :-D
