Morning ~O) a sunny yellow, and it looks like the Evo Turkey & Chicken causes a little spike with Maggie. It was nice at night though, as it kept her in safe numbers. Four P's this morning and no Prezzies to report thus far for Inspector Poo and Chief Inspector Crapdash's daily log. Mags is covering all her bases, as she's not sure who is on deck yet. :lol: I may need to take Mags up a notch on her dose, but I'll let it ride a few cycles to see if she adjusts. She always manages to reach the Green Lagoon and gets a few good hours, so not bad. The lower phosphorus fuds seem to be a little higher in carb, and then add on carb sensitive kitties.
Looking forward to Mannie Barista's coffee. ~O) ~O)

Mags and Trix are running neck and neck! I hear ya on possibly taking the dose up a notch...I'm monitoring for the week and will make the decision for Friday's PM dose. These new fuds definitely seem to be causing some higher numbers for Trix.

BTW, there was a recal for EVO...just saw it yesterday. Here's a couple links about it. I only had one can...I don't know if it was on the list and I haven't had the time to dig deeper about this, but everyone seems OK here:

Hi, Ann, it's such a challenge to find a good balance with the fuds, isn't it? On top of amts. of carbs, phos, etc., you also have to factor in the kitty's opinion on the taste :roll: .

I hope Maggie will come down into blues/greens today!

Hi Amy, oh no on the Evo recall! So far it looks like it is the dry. Interesting with Amy and Mags so alike with the fuds and picky appy club, too!
ETA --I'll have to double check on the canned. I checked my Lot # and didn't see it on the list. I am heading towards Pet People later where I bought it and will check with store mgr.

Hi Melissa, yes, it is so easy to get her back on track even though the ps numbers are fuds spikes.

This time I gave Mags some Wellness Turkey to keep her surfing, no spike with the Wellness. Not the best with Phosphorus though,

Sienne, it seems to work every time with the threat of a dosecrease! :lol: Scary the way kitties can read our condos and our minds.

Josie, looks like a nice and safe surf. Still in the Green Lagoon barely!

GO MAGGIE!! I see greens already! Good job. and good luck too if you decide to go up a notch in dosing, due to the fuds. I think she looks great, but can see too were things are up just a little. Nice that she seems to like the Evo. I have some here that I need to try for Mannie, see if he likes it.

Interesting with the food. I fed Wellness Turkey after the +3, and it keeps her surfing. The Evo keeps her up just a bit more.

Well darn, up and out of the Lagoon, but still a nice blue. Thanks for the visit Courtney. Maybe next time we can convince Maggie girl to stay longer.

I stopped in PetPeople, a small chain pet store here where I've bought some Evo Turkey & Chicken wet fuds. The employee there said it is just the dry that has a problem, and she had just finished removing all the cat and dog dry Evo products from the shelves. The 4 oz Evo that was on the list was sample bag of dry food. I did a double take when I saw it, too. The cans I use are 5.5 oz, and I've not seen 3 oz cans, although I'm sure they must be available. This from a pet store where I often buy. Have any of you heard otherwise?

Nice job there Miss Mags! Pretty greens and overall still a mellow cycle, so no blasting out of the stratosphere! Thanks on the EVO recall information - we didn't have any, but it's still good to see the recalls so we appreciate that. Have a great rest-of-day!

Maggie, that was a nice surf earlier in the lagoon. Maybe a return this evening? Good to see that the EVO recall was not the wet food (by the way, I don't think EVO has a 3 oz. can; I've only seen the 5.5 oz. cans; Stu liked EVO, but Rusty doesn't).

Good luck with finding fuds that are just what Maggie needs (and likes!!).
