Good morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday

KT
AMPS 208

No ugly lOW number for KT this morning...it's an ugly HIGH one instead... He's already had all his meds so I doubt we'll see lower numbers today either. He's also polished off his whole can of RC Recovery too! He's FINALLY gone btb. He finally DID zoom up yesterday giving me big ugly numbers late in what should have been his day cycle.

My big sugar lump....but part of this is a food spike - I heard him eating last night's food about an hour before we got up. He's full of smiles and looks like he's feeling well even if he IS WAY extra sweet. He and Leo didn't run get their run in this morning - Leo's not feeling well....his depo shot didn't last long this time, he's coughing badly.

Guess we got an unexpected job this morning - the county came and so far has dumped 7 trucks of sand/granite chips on our road, road grader is working like crazy. Because they brought in so much, they raised the roadbed so high our water won't run off our lot now. We have such a run-off when it rains that we had to actually build a canal thru our yard to send it to the road. They just ruined it....I'm so aggravated. Now we'll spend the day trying to pack this down and moving sand to raise our drive. WE have to do this all by hand and shovels - fun - NOT!

Baby great-granddaughter, Laila, 17 months old, with childhood glaucoma will have laser surgery to relieve the pressure in her eyes next week. They've been medicating hoping it would decrease for a month now - remeasured yesterday - not enough relief. We're just fighting to keep the sight she does have, what's already gone will probably not regenerate. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

BIG HUGS to all that visit today! Grab a shovel.... :-D :-D

Come on down, boyz. I'm glad that KT has a good appy. :-D Ugh on the road work and your driveway work. :-x Many vines and prayers for Laila and for a completely successful surgery. Big hugs for you and your family, Lyresa.

come on down boys! No need to se whats up on the upper floors. Sending more vines for a successful surger and prayers that Laila's sight will improve.

I'd contact your county supervisor. They should be able to grade to the extent that your drainage is effected w/out putting in a culvert.

Hi Lyresa,

Well, those numbers aren't anthing to write home about. Come on Boyz, let's get back on track!

Many prayers for your DGGD. I hope the laser surgery will save her eyesight. She will be able to adapt to low vision because she is so young. There are so many vision aids available now and by the time she is reading there will be many more refinements.

Bummer on the road crew ruining your drainage. Ann's idea to call the County Supervisor is a good one. It should be their responsibility to correct the shoddy job!

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty
