Oh, another trampoline party. I'm sorry. Good luck at your conference! I told my boss a few years ago I'm done traveling, I can't take the stress of leaving the diabetic, plus the airport/airplanes, plus the hotels, plus the grueling hours, and on and on and on. Luckily, she was ok with it and after covid, most customers are ok with not seeing us in person. I'll be thinking and praying for you and Ms Kit Cat this week! This is the first travel since she went out of remission, so definitely nervous, on top not having flown since maybe 2018? This is a short enough trip that it's a good test if Eric can handle me going home for Christmas (he'll need to test for that to work for me though).
Luckily this is a theatre conference, so not quite as grueling, and friends I don't get to see often. And I get a hotel room to myself! No snoring for 4 whole nights! Well, except mine lol
 
I decided to see how she did on just the 3% food this morning - she dropped almost 100 points between +1 and +2. So Eric's list has been updated to include feeding 5-6% at +1 just to be extra careful.

A question - should I go immediately back to 2 units when I get back or do I need to work back up to it? @Wendy&Neko

Looks like Kit decided to join Mikan for some trampoline fun this meowning. It seems like these 3 girls (Kit, Ivy and Mikan) are always up to something hehe.

Enjoy your trip and hopefully you'll have some time to relax. I know how hard it is to leave our sweet kitties behind, unfortunately with my job I don't have much choice, but at least she's not fully alone and your boyfriend is there if she needs him.

Thanks all! Yesterday was a long day of travel, and delayed flights, but I got to enjoy a couple of hours of nice weather before it gets all rainy. Eric successfully did his first solo shot last night (and his second this morning I presume).

This two hour time difference thing is definitely messing with me. :joyful:
